Chapter 2

We walked in through the large doors, as we followed the large man along with the rest of the adults who I'm guessing are to be the teachers. Once we got to a certain spot in the castle-... I mean school

An older looking woman turned around and presented herself as "Professor McGonagall" she was just babbling on about the rules and expectations and the sorting hat... wait what's a sorting hat? The woman suddenly walked away, probably to go get someone or something. I begin to walk over to the Malfoy boy but as I'm doing that he leans up against the wall with his arms cross. (Probably to make himself look cool... that definitely didn't work) "Looks like Harry Potter has come to Hogwarts," everyone gasped. He began to walk forward towards the boy I met earlier. "The name is Malfoy, Draco Malfoy"

Ron snorted and Draco gave him his usual death stare "Think my name is funny, do you? Do I need to ask yours, Red hair, and a hand-me down robe... You must be a Weasley!" He turned back to Harry and continued talking "You'll soon find out that some wizarding families are better than others. You don't wanna go making friends with the wrong sort, I can help you there." He stuck out his hand as if waiting for Harry to shake it. But he didn't, he just simply said "I think I can tell the wrong sort for myself, Thanks!" Ron smiled and Draco's smile faded. I kinda wanted to laugh but I knew that would have been rude to Draco so I decided not too.

Professor McGonagall walked in and tapped on Draco's shoulder because he was standing in front of the entrance to the next room. "We're ready for you now, follow me" we walked through the large doors as they began to open on their own! Oh wait, right this is a magic school. Oh Merlin, I love magic!

There were four different tables, all separated by... color? "Draco why are all of the tables separated by color?"

"They aren't separated by color you idiot! They are separated by houses!" He said

"Whats a house?" I asked with a puzzled expression

" Merlin! Did you not listen to anything that McGonagall said?"

"No, not really"

" Well, a house is basically your team, and each of the first years don't have a house... yet, but if you were paying attention you would know that in like five minutes, the sorting hat is going to sort us into the different houses. There are four different houses each with different colors and mascots. Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, Griffindore, and Slytherin." why did he have to be such a prick all the time

"Oh- um I knew that" I said

"mhhmmm" he sang

"Camilla Riddle!" McGonagall exclaimed

Is it my turn already? I walked forwards, towards the sorting hat, nobody told me that this would be so nerve racking! I sat down in the small seat while someone placed the sorting hat on my head, It was quite big for my head so it didn't exactly fit. 

"Hmmmm quite powerful this one is, Slytherin would do you nicely but great strength takes place in your mind, perhaps Griffindore?" 

"Please not Griffindore, anything but Griffindore" I whispered so only the sorting hat could hear

"Not Griffindore? the only logical house to put you in other than Griffindore would be..." I felt relieved, Griffindore is where all of the perfect people go. I know for a fact that I don't wanna be stuck with all those losers

"SLYTHERIN!"

The whole entire Slytherin table broke out into a roar of cheers, I was honored to be chosen into be in Slytherin

I got down from the stool I was sitting in and walked to the Slytherin table where Draco, Pansy Goyle, Crabbe, and Zabini were sitting. 

"Kiara Riddle!" Mcgonagall exclaimed, just like she did for me. My sister sauntered up towards the front of the room and sat down, McGonagall began to place the hat on her head but as soon as the hat touched her skin, it yelled-

"RAVENCLAW!" 

The entire Ravenclaw began cheering her name, I rolled my eyes and so did Draco. I know its a bit weird but I'm really hoping that me and Draco become good friends.
