After the weekend, Monday came around the corner again, and the two, AKA Jungkook and Taehyung, were not hanging out like usual. Well, ever since the huge occasion, they never seemed to be together anymore. Everyone was confused at the sudden change.

Jungkook stopped hanging around Taehyung, and Taehyung didn't care either. They both acted like nothing happened between them. They stopped conversing, stopped hanging out. They just stopped. It was not like everyone cares much, but Jungkook also changed.

Jungkook was never a very shady person, but when it comes to Taehyung, they knew something changed. However, they could never judge because they don't know what happened.

They also couldn't go up to Jungkook or Taehyung, and randomly asked "hey, what happened between you and him?" Like, that was just not common. No one was really close with Taehyung to be able to ask him, and everyone was too close to Jungkook to know what would happen if they asked him.

Yeah, it was just weird throughout the rest of the year.

May 31st, 2017

A week before graduation, Jungkook's father, Jeon Dan Ri, called his son over to his office. As the obedient son that he is, he went to his father's office right after class just like he wanted. He cancelled all the plans that he makes with his friends and after school activities, just because his father said so.

Not because he doesn't want to anger his father. It was more like, he never had a father and son bond with his father, so whenever his father wanted to talk with him, he tried to make it possible. Before he couldn't get to talk with him until another time. He knew his father was very busy, so to meet his father once a year is better than never seeing him at all.

"Yes, sir," the door opened to reveal Jungkook while Dan Ri was on the phone. He quickly went back to talking on the phone again. "Okay sir, I'll call you back, sir. Yes, sir."

With that, Dan Ri hung up the phone. Jungkook also came to sit on the provided comfy one sofa chair and sit with his back straight, in a nice posture. Dan Ri also walked from his desk to the one sofa chair that was across from Jungkook with the coffee in his hand.

Jungkook smiled at his father as Dan Ri slurped his drink.

"You called, father?" Jungkook asked.

Dan Ri removed the coffee from his lips with a satisfied sound. "Your grades came in."

Dan Ri mentioned the table in the middle, and Jungkook immediately looked at it. In the middle of the table, there's a grade portal that belongs to Jungkook. Most students, they would be panicking, but for Jungkook, he wasn't. This is normal. He was already getting used to it. There was nothing for him to be shocked or panicked about.

He looked back to his father. "Yeah, they did."

"You got a B plus in English. Did you forget any project and such?" Dan Ri asked.

"No father," Jungkook said, "English was just a little bit hard, that's all."

"Hard?" Dan Ri raised an eyebrow. "But you've been taking English ever since you went to school. Do you want homeschool again?"

"No, father."

Dan Ri looked back at the grades and shoved them back to Jungkook in a distaste. "I'm growing old, Jungkook. I'm turning 60 soon, and I only had you as my son. I don't want this company to run by someone who isn't my blood. But how could you do that when you are clueless in English, Chinese, and Japanese? It's not because I don't want you to know them for me, I want you to know them for you when you come sit in my place."
