Ice Cold [Book One]

Chapter 2

Y/n slowly opened her eyes. Her head hurt, it felt like Erza just hit her on the head with a metal helmet

"Ugh"  Y/n looks up to a ceiling that didn't belong to her and Gray's house

"Ah, darling your awake" Y/n eyes widened as she quickly looked around to see the owner of the unfamiliar voice

She soon landed her sparkling eyes on a man.

"Who are you?" Y/n sternly says as she quickly got up and got into a fighting stance

She tried to activate her magic but....

"Try all you want, your magic won't be working until I decide that you can" Y/n looked up to the man in anger.

The man stood up and walked to Y/n with a smirk.

"What the hell do you mean by that!?"

The mysterious man frowns and shook his head

"Now what kind of language is that? No daughter of mine is going to speak that way, especially with me"

Y/n's eyes widened in shock
"What- daughter?" Y/n was confused

This was going way to fast.

This man, her father?

No way

"No you can't be, there's no way!"
Y/n looks away from the man having mixed feelings on him

The man just laughed and slid his index finger under her chin and forced her to look into his eyes that where black as night, but soon they turned into a dark blue that sparkled like jewels

Y/n froze as her breath hitched and her eyes widened in shock and disbelief

No one that she has ever known had eyes similar to hers

"No" Y/n had not liked this man even though she had just meet him she didn't want to believe this man was her father

"Oh don't look at me like that, I expected hugs and kisses"

Y/n scoffed
"No way in hell"
Y/n slapped the man's hand away and stubbled back a little feeling a little more weak the usual

The man sighed and shook his head
"So stubborn, I wonder if you inherited that from your mother"

"....."

"What did I trigger you some how?"
Anastacius mocked

Y/n said nothing she just stood there, head hung down

Anastacius sighed with a little frown
He didn't mean to make her hate him already, hell he wasn't joking about the hugs and kisses thing that he mentioned earlier

"Rest you have lost a lot of your strength. Your assigned Nanny will wake you up to get you ready for dinner, I will explain everything then"

And with that he left. Leaving Y/n as she was on the verge of tears just wanting Juvia to hug her until she felt better or for Natsu to tell stupid jokes for her to laugh

She wanted to be with her family

A few minutes later a knock was heard

"Lady Y/n, I am here to get you ready for Duke" a woman's voice was heard through the door

Y/n gave no answer. After a few seconds later the door opens and reveals a woman in a maid outfit. She had black hair and green eyes

"My lady?"

The woman scans the room and finally lays her eyes on the little girl that was just standing next to the night stand and staring blankly at the floor
