Chapter 3

"This is as far as I will go" Iris bows and turns to leave.

Y/n quickly grabs the maids wrist.
Y/n looks into the woman's eyes
"If you don't mind. Is it ok if you wait here for me?"

Iris looks at Y/n in shock, but soon softens into a smile
"As you wish". Y/n sighed in relief and smiled at Iris
"Ok wish me luck"

In all honesty Y/n was thinking of ways to strangle the man she has to have dinner with.

'My father' Y/n scoffed at the thought. The only men in her life were Lyon, Gray and all the other men in the guild, so she felt a little..... Uncomfortable?

Yeah she felt uncomfortable.

Y/n opened the door and sees Anastacius sitting at the head of the table.

Anastacius looks up, his eyes widened as he saw Y/n gracefully walk to her seat that was the opposite of him and sit down

"You look lovely" He casually stated as he continued to eat. Y/n didn't say anything, she just drank her appl  juice

It was silent. A little awkward, but what did you expect.

Anastacius stopped eating and looked at Y/n
"Let's talk"

"Ok so lemme get this right. You had sex with your brother's fiance and he killed you for it, but you came back to life and wanted revenge. But you already had that covered" Anastacius nods as Y/n continued

"You used black magic to impregnate the hoe you did it with just so she can take his love and affection and give her the throne"

"Yes" Y/n sweatdrop and closed her eyes and took a deep breath

"But it back fired cuz he has a daughter and will love no one else but her. You found out about me and pulled me to this realm so we could overthrow them?"

"Yes, you catch up rather fast"
Anastacius smiles then drinks his wine

"Yeah, yeah. The question that keeps bothering me is. . . Why me?"

Anastacius froze and relaxed.
"What do you mean?"

Y/n frowned "You have another kid and what I hear from you, she seems more fit to be beside you"

'Did she think that I did not want her if I didn't die?' Anastacius thought to himself

"Jennette is not as skilled. She does not know how to fight or know how to deal with politics. And it is sad to say that she is very much like her mother. Greedy" Anastacius was lying about the last part but everything else was true

"And what makes you think that I will take part in this?" Y/n was pissed off at the fact that he thinks that he can just pick her off and command her to do his little revenge thing over his brother and that she'll do it.

"I see, I had a feeling that I need to prove myself to you. Starting tomorrow I will prove that I am worthy of your love and affection" Anastacius stood up and walked pass Y/n

"Tommorow?" Y/n questioned looking back at the man

"Yes, I hope your ready for some father and daughter time"

Ana's left and now it was only Y/n.
Y/n just sat there, shocked.
'What the hell'

Hello it's me. As you noticed this Anastacius has a different personaliti from my other book. Trust me he cares for Y/n but doesn't know how to show it. Mostly not knowing how to say it either. I just hope you all liked this chapter ♥️♥️
