I sat in my studio, doing finishing touches on a piece for a client. I was just got on FaceTime with Booney while I continued working.
"Hey," I said as he came in the camera. He looked like he was in the car due to him looking so focused.
"Wassup whatchu doing?"
"Painting for this girl."
"Let me see." I flipped the camera so he could see the canvas. "Oh that shit look fire."
"Thank you." I blushed
Me and Booney gotten closer over the two weeks that he's been here. At first, he kept to himself and didn't talk to nobody but eventually when he started speaking we had common interest.
I got up to go to my supply closet to get the gold paint when I noticed I didn't have any left.
I went back to my seat, grabbing my phone to go to the Michael's app to place my same day pickup order.
"Why you looking like that." He laughed making me scrunched my face up.
"Like what?"
"Like you concentrating too hard."
Apple fed as hell
"Sorry I'm on my Michael's app, I gotta pick something up." I explained while checking out.
"Oh."
"Yeah I'll call you back, I got to call my Uber." His face scrunched up.
"The fuck you mean, I'm coming to get you."
Since whennnnn?
"No it's okay. I don't wanna waste your gas." I tried to decline but he wasn't having it.
"Aries I'm not about to let waste your money on no fucking Uber " He mugged.
"Okay fine, text me when you outside." I told him before hanging up.
I got up and walked to my room to grab my grey hoodie and Nike slides. Not two minutes later, he texted me saying he was outside. I grabbed my keys and wallet before heading downstairs and locking the door on my way out. My mom and Starr was at the playground so didn't have to worry about them.
