Their Lost Diamond

Riiiingggg riiiingggg

Ugh will that thing shut up already? What even is it? I smacked my hand around until I ended up hitting something. It fell on the side and I heard a crash before the ringing stopped. Shit. I leaned over the side of my bed and saw that my alarm clock was on the floor in pieces. Oh well. Hopefully it wasn't expensive. 

I looked at the clock above my door. 6:30 am. Time to get ready for school, I guess. I dragged myself out of bed and made my way to my bathroom. I brushed my teeth before picking out my outfit for today. My school didn't have too strict rules on dress code, but I still had to get through my brothers. 

I ended up picking out a white cropped tee that had a cowboy on it, red plaid pants, and white sneakers. I curled my hair and put some jewelry on. I checked myself in the mirror. Pretty good. I had to make a good impression on my first day.

I ran downstairs and almost ran right into Elijah, who seemed to be in a rush. He was wearing a suit and carrying around a brief case. 

"Woah, good morning to you too Diamond." he said laughing. 

"Hey Elijah, are you going to work?" 

"Yup. Vincent and I leave pretty early. Damien will make his way to the tattoo shop soon, and Blake's university has afternoon classes on Mondays. You'll go to school with Zander and Xavier." 

I nodded and waved goodbye to him as he left. I sat at the table and scrolled through my new phone Elijah bought me while eating toast. I finished and washed my plate just as the twins came down. They quickly ate and we were on our way. Zander was driving, and his driving freaked me out a bit. He was going super fast and swerving to avoid cars. 

Xavier's POV

I turned around to look at Diamond and my heart broke. Her eyes were sealed shut and she was holding on to the seat for her life. She was probably remembering the accident and panicking. Zander drives fast, but I guess I'm used to it. 

"Zander slow down." I told him through gritted teeth. He looked at Diamond in the rearview mirror and I thought I saw his eyes soften for a second. He slowed down and I saw Diamond visibly relax in the back. 

Diamond's POV

Thank god Zander slowed down. I was so scared that we were going to get into another accident. 

We pulled into the school and I noticed everyone look at our car. When the boys got out, all the girls started adjusting their hair and sending them flirtatious looks. When I got out, they looked at me with daggers in their eyes. 

"Who is she?" "Is she one of their girlfriends?" "I wish I was her." 

I heard remarks all around me as I followed my brothers into the school. Zander immediately split from us once we got inside, but Xavier led me to the office.
