Chapter 1 - Date to the Yule Ball

Since 1st year, Draco and Raven despised each other since Draco made fun of Ron when he was introducing himself to Harry. But that's when Raven, Harry, Hermione, and Ron became best friends. But during 3rd year, Draco and Raven became closer and Draco apologized for the bullying he endured to her and her best friends. The trio didn't approve of their friendship but agreed to be cordial with each other. Still some snarky remarks towards each other but it later died down.

It was after school and Raven was chilling in her dorm room listening to music on her iPod. Draco comes in busting into the room with his usual smirk on his face. He plops down on her bed and starts to finally speak.

"Hey, Ray," Draco says. "So, do you have a date to the Yule Ball yet?" "Nope," Raven says. With a shocked look on his face, Draco replies saying "What?! How can you not have a date for the Yule Ball?!" "Because I don't really care about having a date. I just want to have a good time you know?"

Draco rolled his eyes and laid on his back next to Raven. "Do you have a date?" Raven says. "No..." Draco says hesitantly. "So you're getting on my ass about not having a date when you don't have one? That's rubbish." Raven said irritatedly. "Hey, I tried asking out this one Slytherin girl but she fancied someone else and I don't want these other girls leeching off of me," Draco responds. Then there became silence.

Breaking the silence, Draco says "I'd totally hate to say this, but since we both don't have a date, you want to go together? You know, as friends?" "Uh, sure I guess since you're SO desperate," Raven replies jokingly. Draco huffs and rolls his eyes.

"Alright then. So could you wear-" "Nope," Raven says. "But-" "No Draco, I'm not going to change my dress color for you, just deal with it." "But can't you just change it to green?" Draco whined. "No Draco, now get out of my dorm please," Raven says as she pulls Draco out of her bed and pushes him out the door.
