Draco noticed that Harry's fists were balled, and his jaw was set tight. He hadn't seen him this mad since, hell, he didn't even know when. Draco didn't know what to do. Harry was still facing the door. The blonde hesitated, but placed a light hand on the crook of his elbow, which made Harry slowly turn around. Green eyes met pale blue, and Draco lowered both his arms.
"Did we finish with my lip?"
Harry nodded. "Soft spot, eh?"
Draco blushed, and he turned around, and walked back toward the kitchen. "You wish, Potter."
Harry laughed, and followed Draco. He began cleaning off the table. "Oh, I completely forgot. You need a bedroom."
"And a bathroom, office, and a balcony if that is possible."
"Yeah yeah." Harry laughed, followed by an eyeroll.
Draco followed Harry up the stairs, and to the second door on the left.
"This can be your room, with the bathroom next to it. My room is right across this one. Also, the fourth door on the right can be used as an office, but I have no clue what you're gonna do about a balcony.""I'm a Malfoy, Potter. I know many clever spells, thank you."
Harry smiled, and went in the soon-to-be Draco's room, and he started tidying up with his wand. Draco however, started walking down the hallway, to a certain room. When he read the name on the door, he paused.
Sirius Orion Black.
Draco knew he would be overstepping his boundaries if he went in, but he couldn't help himself. With one last look over his shoulder, he opened the door and stepped inside the bedroom. It was messy, like it had been rummaged through and never cleaned afterwards. Bony pterodactyls hanging from the ceiling, a bed, closet, posters of women, a bicycle, and a leather jacket hanging on a chair. Draco walked forward to the jacket, and lifted it into his hands. He ran his fingers over the black material, and traced the stitches. It was an attractive jacket. Draco placed his arms through the sleeves, and adjusted the collar. He turned around, looking for a mirror, and there stood Harry in the doorway, mouth agape.
"Merlin. I-"
"Do I look that good?"
"Even better. You look insanely attractive right now."
Draco smiled, and walked toward Harry. "Your godfather had incredibly great taste. I mean, just look at it! It's perfect!" Draco laughed as he did a little twirl.
Harry reached to touch the jacket, running his fingers along the end of the sleeve. "You can have it, if you'd like."
Draco's eyes lit up. "Your godfather's jacket? Really?"
"If you want it, you can have it. It suits you."
Draco smiled, a real smile. Before he even thought about what he was doing, he stepped forward, and wrapped his arms around Harry, and hugged him. Harry, hesitating, hugged him back. Draco stepped back.
"Did you create a place for myself to sleep?"
Harry nodded, and led the way into the room he was in a few minutes prior.
As they entered the bedroom, Harry watched Draco carefully to see his initial reaction. Was it clean enough? Large enough?
'Since when do I care about what Malfoy thinks?' Harry asked himself.
Draco stepped into 'his' room, and he was pleasantly surprised. He had expected it to be as dark and as dusty as the rest of the house, but it wasn't. It looked like Potter had worked hard to make it look the way it looked. On the right, sat a dresser with a mirror atop it. In the middle of the room sat a four-poster bed with a green bedspread. On the left sat an empty bookshelf.
"So, is it okay?" Harry asked, and Draco could hear the uncertainty in his voice.
"It's very preeminent, Potter."
"Oh, okay yeah."
Draco watched in amusement as Harry looked awkwardly at his feet.
"You don't know what that means, do you, Potter?"
Harry shook his head, smiling and shrugging his shoulders.
"It means it's great. You did very well. A green bedspread, too? You really went all out."
Harry sighed. "Well, you could say that, but Sirius' brother was in Slytherin, and this was his room. So, I thought I would keep the bedspread green. They're silk too."
Harry watched as Draco's eyes lit up at the word 'silk'.
"Silk?!"
"Yes, Malfoy. Silk. Is that alright?"
"I love silk! When I was growing up, Mother always made sure that I had the most extraordinary silk items. Like, bedspreads, clothes, curtains, and other things. I just love the way it feels to the touch. Also, it is just so soft!"
Harry knew he was grinning like an idiot, but just seeing Malfoy beaming over a material made him smile. Who knew, that a Malfoy, could love something so minimalistic as a material?
"I'll keep that in mind. You're such a child sometimes."
Harry smiled at how easily he could make Malfoy blush.
Draco awkwardly pulled the collar of the jacket up, to cover his neck, to hide the flush that he knew was creeping upwards.
"Not my fault I like exquisite materials."
Harry laughed. "Do you wanna shower?"
"Potter! I literally just moved in, and you're already trying to get me naked? Merlin, wait a few weeks!"
Harry's eyes widened, and he felt his whole body heat up. 'Showering? With Malfoy? At the same time? That's definitely not what I meant, but it does sound nice. Wait! No! Stop thinking like that, Harry! Pull yourself together.' He scolded himself.
Harry put his hands up in front of himself. "No! Not what I meant! I meant do you want to go take a shower while I cook dinner?"
Draco's ivory skin turned a pale pink, and he wanted to bolt out the door and never show his face to Harry again.
"Oh, yes, of course. How could I have been so dim? But yes, a shower would be lovely."
Harry nodded, and left the room, with Draco following. When they arrived in the hallway, Harry turned around to look at Draco,
"Wait, what do you mean 'wait a few weeks'?" Harry asked, smirking.
Draco mentally slapped himself in the face. He pulled himself together, threw on his signature smirk, and arched an eyebrow.
"It means exactly what you think it means, Potter."
