I heard a knock on the door it was my mom and dad coming back in the patient room to check on me my dad was smiling and my mom looked sad I jus tried to put a smile on my face she gave me my phone and said

YM: how u doin babygirl
Y: I'm actually doin really good mom fr
YM: I'm jus worried about u
YD: Y/M/N she jus broke her ankle she'll be fine
YM: I'm jus worried about her surgery
Y: wait when is it
YM: tmr around 2 pm
Y: oh
YD: babygirl u have nothing to worry about everything will go well
Y: ur prolly right
YM: well baby me and ur dad r gonna go get some food jus text me if u need anything okay

She came to the side of the bed and said

YM: love u
Y: love u too
YD: bye babygirl we'll be back

I smiled while they started to walk out the room I opened my phone and saw so many notifications sum from snap and sum from instagram I went to snap and saw jus boomerangs then I went to my messages they were from Mauricio I smiled a lil and said to myself what does this loser want he texted me about 3 times saying

M: HEY can u answer yo phone
M: I miss u I hope we can have Christmas with yo family last year was fun asf
M: bruh u leavin me on delivered on purpose
Y: 1. I couldn't answer my phone bc I'm in the hospital rn and 2. maybe we can have Christmas with my family and back to number 1. I didn't leave u on delivered on purpose I'm jus in the hospital rn
M: why what happened r u okay do I need to come up there 🌝
Y: I mean I jus broke my ankle n I mean if u want to u can but I'm not forcing u to come here it's not that serious Mauricio 🌚

I told him the hospital that I was at and he said

M: bet I'll be there in a few minutes

I put my phone down on my lap and grabbed the remote to the tv and turned it on it was only 4 pm and I was already bored I hated hospitals ion kno why it was jus the whole vibe of the place made me feel uncomfortable even tho I told Mauricio not to come I really did want him to come bc I was a scared I grabbed a pillow and held it in my arms and watched tv until Mauricio got here a few minutes passed it was now 4:24 and Mauricio still hasn't came I guess he wasn't coming until I heard a knock on the door I said

He smiled his smile meant everything to me every time I see him smile it automatically makes me smile I smiled back at him as he walked in the room he had a whole black Nikey fit on he took off his hood and sat down in a chair and said

M: did u kno it's rainin outside
Y: I didn't really look outside today bc the curtains was closed

He threw a big bag of chips at me I caught them and smiled even harder I looked at him and said

Y: stop tryna make me cry Mauricio
M: wowwww I thought u would have cried when u saw me

I pointed at the chips and rolled my eyes and said

Y: ion see these everyday maybe like twice a week
M: naw maybe like 3 times a week
Y: shut up I jus be hungry a lot
M: but anyways uh how's ur ankle
Y: still hurts to move but I'll be fine after tmr
M: what's tmr
Y: my surgery

He stood up from the chair and pulled down his hoodie and came closer to me

He came closer I grabbed his hair and made him come even closer to me

I looked at his eyes I stared for prolly 10 seconds then I went to his ear and whispered

He backed away from me and said

M: everything's gonna be fine ur surgery is gonna go perfect

M: bro fr don't say that it makes me mad when u say shit like that

Y: and all I'm sayin is what if my surgery doesn't go perfect
M: I'll be there

I started laughing he looked confused and sat back down in the chair he said

M: what
Y: u can't come in the room dummy
M: I'll be waiting outside of the room dummy I'll jus wait for u to get done

He stood back up and came to the bed and snatched the chips away from me i looked up and said

Y: r u serious
M: until u have a good attitude I'll give them back but I have to go so imma jus take these with me

He started walking to the door he opened the door and started to walk out I said

Y: Mauricioooooooo no
M: awww u gon miss me
Y: no I jus want the chips
M: wowwwww bye

I smiled he closed the door behind him i thought to myself he makes me smile a lot that's not normal Y/N
