Percy pulled the cap off his pen, and Riptide's gleaming blade glinted in the light of early morning. Raindrops hit the sword like salty tears, and decorated Percy's hair like dew. All he could think about was how the rain refreshed Annabeth's beautiful facial features, and how the camp was undefended. Mostly Annabeth. He also noticed that Chiron's shirt read: HORSEBUTT337- 2008 LEGEND OF ZELDA- REENACTMENT. Chiron! You handsome, nerdy devil. Thalia had been staying in the Zeus cabin with Piper and Jason (recently married) for the wedding. She had her silver, shimmery and scary bow and arrow from Artemis and silver, shimmery matching pajamas with a crest decorated with a bow and arrow on the pocket. She had an arrow drawn to her cheek, and was walking cautiously to the pine tree that had once petrified her spirit. Percy and Annabeth, with their arms around eachother, stood aback with the others atop Half Blood Hill. Thalia shook as she knelt at the boundary line, and slowly and carefully scratched her arrow through the line. Gasps rang out from the crowd as she successfully dragged a foreign stone back across the boundary line. Chiron closed his eyes. "Remain calm. I want warriors at every checkpoint along the perimeter, and I want manned boats docked at the ready at the Sound. Weapons need to be brandished now, more than ever. The oldests girls from some of the cabins need to care for the young campers. Windows and doors need to be locked extra with security bars and blinds closed. Annabeth Jackson, Piper Grace, Elise Van Lee, and Lou Ellen: take the children to the stronghold of the Zeus cabin for protection. Here, offer Mr. D's sandwich to the brasier. And last night's chowder." Mr. D moaned.

"My hogi!" he whined. Chiron shot him a murderous look and he shut up. " I mean, praise to Zeus. Go dad. Blah, blah, blah." Thalia duplicated Chiron's glare at her(disgusting as he was) half-brother, and he shrank behind Chiron. Percy stabbed the soil with Riptide.

"This is all my fault," he said, a determined and grim look in his eyes. "It was my wedding. My wife. My family. I wanted to let them in and I didn't close the border." Annabeth grabbed Percy's shoulders, but he didn't catch her gaze.

"Percy! Don't do this. It wasn't your fault, and, even if the blame falls on the two of us, I... I've never been happier than the day my family and friends surrounded me as I married my favorite Seaweed Brain." she pecked him on the cheek, which turned him beet red. He hugged her and rubbed her back.

"Annabeth, I love you. I love all of you, and I'm going to protect you or die trying. Now, you and the girls get the kids to Cabin One. I need a team. Leo, Thalia, and Jason, get your swords and stay on my track. This isn't training. This is game time."
