I am very aware I've only drawn Bardock once, also aware that I've never drawn Gine and to top that off, I've never drawn people hugging. But here you go.
This is how I started it.

After making a rough shape, I start to detail certain features. The next part was hard, since it's almost impossible to find a side view of the shoulder pad sayian armor, but I managed to detail the rest.
After I drew the base, I started shading properly to make it not look so flat.

After, I ink it, I will shade it better. Black spiky hair is complex like that, but, that's saiyans for you.
