Chapter - Approval.

"Miss Rei?" You asked, making the two women look at you. You got nervous. 

"I-I'm sorry but I think we will be leaving." You said. Rei moved to you. 

"Please don't." She said and brought her hands to her chest.

"I'm sorry. I did forget the tea, truly, but I did wish to meet you." She said and smiled. 

"I have heard from Shoto that you changed my ex-husband." She said. Fuyumi gave a nod. 

"A lot of my students have talked about how he even let them take a picture with them. He doesn't smile, but still." She said. You felt less nervous and smiled. 

"He does. I can tell when he comes home and is smiling that children ran up and asked for a picture or autograph." You say. Fuyumi giggled. 

"Does he burn it or sign it?" She asked, making you laugh a bit also. Rei smiled and took out a few tea cups and a tea pot. She put in the tea, then the hot water. 

"Let me." You say and take the tray. 

"Thank you." She said and you all back in. The room was still silent and you set the tray on the table and sat by Enji. 

"So. It seems you have changed." Rei said. Enji gave a small nod. 

"Yes." He said. You looked at him and gave him a hard nudge in the side. 

"Ow." He said and glared at you. You used your head and pointed at them. He sighed and looked at his children and ex-wife. He then moved and gave a formal bow. 

"Rei, Fuyumi, Shoto, Natsuo. I'm sorry for all that I did." He said. Everyone but Shoto gave a shocked looked. Enji that sat up. 

"I know that doesn't make what I did right, but I have changed. Hawks and (y/n) have been my family lately. They have helped me change not only my attitude, but my way of thinking." He said and looked at Hawks.

"I know I don't say this, but that is why I wanted you here with me today Hawks. You are like a son to me." He said. Hawks looked at him and his mouth dropped silent. Enji then looked at you. 

"And while you may be a Nomu..." He said and took your hand. 

"Your so much more then that. You show me I had a heart and I'm capable of love and receiving love." He said and leaned, kissing you. You kissed him back. He then looked at his children. 

"Maybe, in time, you can come and visit us for dinner." He said and looked at Rei. 

"With your approval and you are welcome also." He said. They all smile and Rei opened her mouth but Enji felt arms and wings around him. 

"Daddy!" Hawks cried out. Enji growled and pushed him off him but Hawks kept trying to hug him, tears in his eyes.

"Did I say son! I meant pain in the ass!" Enji yelled and Hawks laughed as he hugged him again and Enji tried to get him off him. 

"I wouldn't mind coming over for dinner one night." Fuyumi said, making Enji and Hawks stop and look at her. Natsuo and Shoto both gave a nod. Rei smiled. 

"I did invite you over and its kind that you offered the same. Just let us know and we can make it a plan." She said. You smiled and Enji smiled also and Hawks hugged him harder and he sighed. You laughed softly. 

"Hawks." You say. Hawks looked at you and whined a bit before he let Enji go. Enji looked at you and mouthed thank you. You gave a nod and soon, you all had tea and dinner, enjoying each others company. Before you knew it, you were back home and cuddling Enji in bed. 

"Thank you Enji." You said and kissed him. He smiled, kissing you back and looked at you.

"For?" He asked. You moved and straddled his him. his hands went to your hips. 

"For saving me." You say. He moved and sat up, kissing you deeply. 

"No one should be hidden away (y/n). I once hid everything from everyone but I found someone who made me realize I shouldn't hide anymore." He said and held you tighter. 

"I should be the one thanking you." He said. You held him tight and kissed his head. 

"I guess we saved each other." You said. He looked into your eyes and smiled before he gave a nod. 

"And I will always save you." He said. You leaned in close to him, your lips just over his. 

"To my hero." You whisper and kiss him. He kisses you back before his hands slide to your back as he held you tighter.
