After completing another grueling mission by herself, Yang Xiao Long was exhausted and was about to head back to beacon. But not until she hears crying coming from an alley. So she went to check it out. And what she saw surprised her. It was a fox faunus. He looked about 5 years old.
Yang: what are you doing in a place like this?
????: my mom abandoned me. Both of my parents were human and they both left me here to die because I'm a faunus.
Yang: well that's no good. What's your name?
????: Toad. I got no last name though.
Yang: how about you come with me to beacon?
Toad: ok. I got nowhere else to go anyway.
In beacon. In the dorm.
Yang: I'm back guys.
Ruby: hey welcome back Yang.
Weiss: why'd you bring a child with you?
Yang: I found him in an alley after my mission.
Ruby: he's cute.
Weiss: so how did he ended up in the alley?
Yang: he said his parents abandoned him. They were both human but when they found out he was born a faunus, they left him in the alley to die. I couldn't just abandon him.
Blake: so are y gonna adopt him Yang?
Yang: yeah. From now on I'll be his new mom.
Ruby: that means I'm gonna be an aunt.
Yang: to be honest, I always wanted to be a mom.
