Dandelila's POV
I awoke to Lilyth tapping on my shoulder.

We made it to Hogwarts.

We followed the throng of people out of the train with our new friends. When I tell you I gasped, I really screamed. The view was astronomical. Nightfall made Hogwarts look more magical than it already was. Quote Venna, 'My eyes have been blessed.'

' I wish I brought the camera.' Lilyth said

'Honestly, nothing can capture this moment. Not even a camera,' I replied with a smile.

Then, a big man with bushy black hair and beady eyes named Hagrid came to pick us up.

'C'mon, follow me- any more firs' years? Mind yer' step, now! Firs' years follow me!' Hagrid bellowed.

We all followed Hagrid down a steep path, which ended near a black glossy lake.

There, we had a better view of Hogwarts castle. Perched atop a high mountain on the other side, a vast castle with many tunnels and towers. Lilyth estimated that it was about 4 times the size of Rose Villa, our home. I figured that it was probably 6 times the villa.

'No more'n four to a boat!' Hagrid called out.

He then pointed to a fleet of boats at the shore of the colossal lake. Lilyth, Trineth, Venna and I got into a boat while Claire and Erine got into a boat with two other boys.

'FORWARD!' Hagrid exclaimed.

All of a sudden, the boats started to glide across the lake with speed.

'Heads down!' Hagrid warmed as we neared a cliff.

All of our head ducked down their heads. After passing the cliff we entered a dark tunnel. Lilyth grasped my arm. She had a fear of the dark. Well, actually, she has a fear of everything. Probably my fault.

The rest of the journey went smoothly and soon we stopped at a kind of underground harbour. We all got out and Hagrid lead us to a giant set of wooden doors. He opened them with ease.

The doors opened, revealing a tall black-haired witch.

'Professor McGonagall, the firs' years.' Hagrid announced.

'Thank you, Hagrid. I will take over from here.' the witch replied.

We followed the witch we knew as Professor McGonagall down the halls. They were similar to the halls in Rose Villa, but with a more rustic vibe.

We stopped at a small empty chamber of the hall. There, the professor explained how we were to be sorted into our houses before we took our seats in the great hall. Blah blah blah.

The Rose Family belonged to Slytherin, with exceptions made in Ravenclaw. Grammy was a Ravenclaw and so was our great-grand father. We had taken bets. I would end up in Slytherin and so would Lilyth, although we were extremely different. She was more outgoing and I was more ambitious.

Before they let us in, there was a short pause. Professor McGonagall left us for a while and we chattered amongst ourselves.

'So it's true then, Harry Potter has come to Hogwarts.' a voice announced loudly.

All heads turned to the direction the voice came from, a pale boy with blue-ish-grey eyes and slicked back white-blonde hair stood in front of a brown-haired boy with great interest.

The boy spoke, ' This is Crabbe and Goyle. And I'm Malfoy, Draco Malfoy.' He then pointed to two fat- muscled boys respectively and then to himself.

So this was the boy Mother told us of. The Malfoy boy. Son of Narcissa and Lucius Malfoy. Lilyth must have been thinking the same thing because we both stared at each other with a knowing look.

We clearly hadn't been paying attention to the conversation because before we knew it, Draco was warning Harry of the wrong sort.

'I can tell the wrong sort for myself, thanks.' Harry Potter snapped back.

Draco turned a pinkish shade.

Ooh. Burn. He's looking more burnt than Father's attempt at buttered chicken.

Malfoy then turned to us.

'I think I know who you two are. Dandelila and Lilyth Rose. The two pathetic girls named after two flimsy flowers. I reckon you can join Parkinson's daughter and start a girl band,' he scowled.

'Watch it, Malfoy. Or we'll just tell your mum.' Lilyth warned.

He kept his mouth open.

'Whatever.' he replied.

Rude. I'd actually like to see him try to insult us again. Maybe we'll really tell mum. Anyway, the doors were soon opened for us and we stepped in. The bright lights and the cheering from the students caught me off guard.

And the Sorting Ceremony began.
