Kai entered the study to his brother and sister talking about their elaborate plan for the evening.

"We need proper motivation for Katie to cast a powerful spell tonight. I'm creating that motivation. Marcel has ordered a rousting of the witches." Klaus boasted.

"Well would you look at that, things are about to get nasty." Kai butted in.

"Yeah and it's the first time that Nik is not at the would-be crime scene" Rebekah added, smiling towards Kai.

"As I was saying. I, in turn, have arranged for things to go tragically wrong." Nik smiled with that devilish smirk that his siblings got so used to.

"Like I said, nasty" Kai smiled.

"Marcel may not be concerned with Thierry's romantic entanglements, but there are other crimes which he'll be less inclined to so easily forgive. Killing a vampire, for example. That would be unforgivable." Klaus walks to the door.

"If Katie hopes to save her one true love from Marcel's punishment? Well, a rescue mission like that will require something positively magical. But then... what's worth dying for, if not love?" He finished off, Rebekah on his tail.

Kai stood up himself following his siblings, "And there will Juliet lie, using her final moments trying to save her love from an eternal doom." He uttered.

Masquerade Gala

The Mikaelson trio entered the party, Rebekah arm in arm with both of his bothers. The oldest of the three wears a black suit, a black dress shirt and a tie, which earned a few jabs from his siblings, the younger hybrid, wore a similar outfit as his brother, minus the tie, all of them deciding to match.

And the current youngest, Rebekah, is dressed in a black peplum cocktail dress and a hairpiece with black feathers to beads to match.

"Well, this certainly is a fitting backdrop for tonight's events, I must say." Klaus commented, taking in the dark and wild atmosphere in the compound.

The three spots Cami entering the party, wearing while angel's wing and a vintage white beaded dress. Rebekah looks pleased, but Klaus' smile falls, while Kai just looked confused to what their sister had planned.

Klaus looked at his sister suspiciously, "What's she doing here?"

Kai leaned to his brother's ear, "I believe that is our sister's way of distracting the man of the hour", without tearing their gaze away from the woman.

"What better way to distract Marcel than to put his very human new girl in a room chock full of vampires?" Rebekah answered.

Klaus obviously not happy with his sister's decision followed her none the less accompanied by a pat on the back from his younger brother.

"Which one of them is the infamous an-again/off-again?" the human inquired.

Kai replied with a not amused expression, "That's just terribly gross love".

Rebekah elbowed her brother on the side which only earned a quiet chuckle from the younger hybrid.

"They're the brothers, actually, and my sister is right. You do look stunning." Klaus complimented the human.

Kai offered his arm toward his sister, "I believe this is the part of your plan where we leave them alone?", he asked in a whisper being cautious of Marcel's vampires around that might be watching.

"You are quite right brother," Rebekah looped her arm around her brother's waiting one.

"You two chit-chat. I need booze and I'm taking Kai with me." She excused.
