A Love Story In Grandline City (one Piece Fanfic)

Chapter 5:

marko's POV 

I don't mind eating cereal. but having it for lunch and dinner too? ever since i came here and the only thing I've eaten is cereal.

"for how long have you only been eating cereal?" i asked as i was eating breakfast, cereal.

"ever since i left my part time job, a couple days ago" ann said.

"why did you leave it?"

"because i got 'fired' " she sighed "anyways, i'm not going back to new world"

"what- why?"

"while you were having 'fun' with your crush-"

"he's not-"

"i got kidnapped and broke my arm after i found only one letter that's for luffy"

"are you sure? only one?"

she went to the kitchen and got a letter from one of the cabins "i looked around but didn't find anything else" she put the letter on the table and sat across from me.

"does he know?"

"no, i didn't tell him yet. though he asked about it, saying some of his friends got it already"

"but they said all letters were sent already"

"guess I'm not as lucky as luffy" she frowned "how did he even pass all the exams to get to go?" those who pass all exams with a perfect score get to go, for free. other than that it's quite expensive. 

"luck" i said simply.

she sighed. "let's change the subject. though everything is confusing and-"

"then let's just fix every thing together! I'm sure it wouldn't be that hard" i got up "not to mention, i missed the cheerful Ann i know. i don't like the depressed version"

she laughed "me too. but how are we going to 'fix' everything?"

"first of all, the obvious. we need to go shopping for food"

"why don't we go shopping for clothes after this?" i asked as we walked though the market.

"that's not necessary. not to mention I'm sure we'll spend all your money on food alone, you know how much me and my brother eat"

"yeah..." from the corner of my eye i saw a familiar blond. "um, Ann" she turned to me "let's go the other way. i want to buy something" and i went the other way but Ann stopped me after i noticed she glanced towards sabo.

"it's because of him. right?" she asked, annoyed "what is so special about him?!"

"well...."

"you're nervous, blushing and weird. didn't you say you knew him for only 2 days?"

"yeah but-" she cut me off.

"you know what? continue shopping on your own till i come back" she turned to leave, i was about to stop her when she turned back to me. "remember! meat is the top priority here! anything else doesn't matter as much" and she ran off.

Ann's POV 

i made my way towards the guy, though Marko didn't tell me his name but i didn't care to know. i was angry at him not because of the car but because he turned my best friend into some school girl i don't know that's crazy over her crush. 

if the guy is some weak idiot that 'charmed' her then he doesn't deserve her. i want to test him myself. 

"alright, what's the deal with you?" i said. he turned to me and was about to say something when things went odd yet again. he's odd. it's annoying. "dude. I'm talking to you" his mind is somewhere else.
