A Love Story In Grandline City (one Piece Fanfic)

chapter 3:

ann's POV

i opened my eyes, my arm was treated and i wasn't cuffed anymore. i looked beside me, "law?!" she immediately covered my mouth with her hand.

"don't be so loud." she whisper-shouted. 

i removed her hand from my mouth. "what are you doing here?" i whispered."how did you know i was here?" 

"i came to get you out of here" she said before wearing her bag, that probably had the stuff needed for my arm and whatever else was there."i'll explain everything later" 

we both got up and i followed her to the hole in the ceiling. i climbed up through it to the top of the ceiling before pulling her up. "room" in the blink of an eye, we were away from the place.

i noticed it was a poor area. a place no one from the city will visit. There was no one around so I think this place is abandoned.

we were running towards law's car, which i'm sure wasn't hers. i got in and she started driving, we were silent the whole way. 

me and law didn't talk much or didn't talk at all. i heard that she distanced herself from everyone once high school started. i noticed that too. i did manage to make her open up to me at some point but a little later, she started to act as if she didn't know me.

not just me but nobody have seen her since graduation, which she also didn't attend. first time i saw her since was last night in the club, she was on the dance floor as well, with a guy. they were kissing.

she parked the car infront of a big mansion before she used her abilities again. and we were inside the mansion, a room to be specific.

"this is your room?" i asked as i sat down on the bed. it wasn't as interesting as i thought it would be. it looked like a library with a bed, desk and a closet. 

"yes" she sat down next to me. "your broken arm will heal in two weeks or so by the way"

"great" i look at my left arm, the broken one."so... how did you know i where i was?"

"i over heard bellamy and one of his 'friends' talking about a girl related to strawhat-ya being with them so I followed them to where you were"

"why? do you even still see me as a friend?" she didn't answer. "why did you help me?".

"why didn't you get out yourself? you're stronger than that if i remember right" she didn't look at me. 

"don't change the subject"

"what if i don't want to answer your question?" she finally looked at me. "it doesn't matter anyway" she got a phone out of her pocket, my phone.

"you got my phone!" i took it from her. "thanks!" she shrugged before lying down on the bed. i dialed my younger brother's number. he didn't answer so i called the others, the only one who answered was sanji.

"hello?" she said from the other side of the phone. before i could answer though...

"law!" someone from outside the door shouted. 

law got up "room". before i knew it i was sitting outside the mansion. 

"hello. sanji it's me" i put the phone on my ear since sanji was still on the phone before i got up and started walking home. 

"ann?!" i put the phone away from me as i heard nami shout. sanji's phone was probably on speaker. "where are you?!"

"i'm walking home right now. i managed to escape and decided to call so you guys won't do anything reckless"
