The whole story is a point of view of the boy, Choi Hyunsuk. Everytime in his dream, he met someone. And he wish to stay longer everytime he dreamt of that person.
They will only part when he wake up, and he beg for the 'Mr Sandman' to keep him asleep. Until one day, the person in his dream could no longer can stay there forever.
So he chose to exchange. Let him live in the eternal abyss of the dream and let the person to see the light (waking up, living) in exchange so they can continue exist. The Sandman granted his wish.
He is the morning star who revived the moonchild.
