Formula:  "A list of ingredients for or constituents of something." - Oxford Dictionary

Rudolph's riches came from his highly successful business “Virgil Incorporated” also known as “Virgil Electrics”, a multi-billion dollar corporation that Rudolph owned more than half of. Rudolph was but only a millionaire however, despite his large ownership. This was because Rudolph liked to keep company money in company decisions. Some would call him “a man who always played nice” but in the shadows, Rudolph was cunning and brutal.

This being said, theft wasn’t typical of Rudolph, however, to clarify, it also wasn’t completely out of his league. Rudolph would play dirty when his emotions inspired him too. Oddly enough, most of his good behavior came from his professional side, and most of his bad behavior came from his personal side; Rudolph thought this of himself, and he considered it more admirable of a trait than a bad one.

Rudolph decided to name the new gaming console The Formula, and when he was asked why, he simply gave no comment. He had a reason for naming it The Formula, but he thought he’d keep it to himself. To those around him, most assumed he didn’t have a reason. After all, who in their right mind has the nerve to question the name of a video game console? In the public’s eye, the name was irrelevant; the product itself however was the talk of many teenagers and young adults.

Rudolph was very cunning with his marketing of The Formula, he staged a leak in the company, that made all sorts of strange claims about The Formula; saying that it had psychic powers, that it was secretly powered with alien technology, that it was more advanced than anything man had ever seen before, and that Virgil Incorporated was hiding the truth from the public.

Because of these claims, the media became very attached to the story, and in doing so, they gave The Formula more attention than the advertising industry could ever give.   So thus, in March, four months into production, Rudolph decided he would make a public announcement, stating the truth behind The Formula.

The media filled up the large Virgil Incorporated press room so thickly, that camera men were filming with their bare arms rubbing against each other. Thousands of people held up their phones to take videos and pictures, as Rudolph walked up onto the stage.

In his official statement to the media, Rudolph said “We have created something that will reach into the players imagination, and will deliver a paradise twice as impressive. The Formula is a flawless gaming system, it will bankrupt the gaming industry, as well as the entire entertainment industry. Movies, books, music; all will be obsolete. The Formula is not happiness like you understand it; happiness has not existed until now. The Formula will solve all of the world’s problems.”

The room of journalists roared with questions. Rudolph raised his right hand,  the entire room fell silent, and then Rudolph set his hand down. He nodded at one of the journalists from CNN.

“How will it help the world when so many entertainers are driven to poverty?”

Rudolph grinned and said “the money this console will accumulate will be more than enough to rid the world of poverty. And we, generous owners of Virgil Incorporated, will make sure we give adequate help to those in need. Next question, you in the red suit.”

A man from FOX News stood up.

“Will there be internet capability?”

Rudolph shook his head and said, “There is no need.”

The man from FOX News laughed and said “Then how is it perfect?”

The entire room of journalists laughed, but Rudolph continued to stare at the man with a blank stare, he showed no anger at the man’s remark, instead, he appeared to be just as confident as he was earlier, only, for some reason, a gleam in his eye indicated that he was pleased with what the man said. Rudolph, with a touch of power, and joy in his tone, then stated.

“The console will be showed in action at the Yankee’s Stadium on the 21st of July,  that is four months from now. All of your questions will be answered then.”

Rudolph then walked out of the room.
