Aiden gazed around him as he walked into the large structure. The building had a very futuristic style of interior. Given how much money Rudolph kept invested into the company, it made sense that his company buildings would have expensive, unique interior designs.
Aiden walked up to the front desk, escorted by Sasha, who had grown tired from both the drive, and the exposure to Aiden's terrible ego. Aiden tried to act divine as he walked, but his badly bruised face (which had been grinded against a wall) made his efforts look silly to the man at the front desk, Max.
Max was a short nerdy African American man with big square nerdy glasses. Being in his late thirty's, he looked just as friendly as he looked clueless, making him the perfect man to operate the front desk at an establishment that isn't even open to the general public.
Sasha's dark driving lenses were still attached to her glasses, the room's bright lights and white walls gave the dark lenses an intimidating reflection of light, which went well with the intimidating look of annoyance on her face. Max noticed both of these details and fear struck into him like a knife in the chest. However Sasha's calming voice calmed that fear when she said "Good evening Max, where is Mr. Rudolph?"
Max responded nervously with "Oh oh... give me a second," he rattled his hands through his notes, he picked up a small purple sticky note and read "Laboratory Delta One," he put the not down and continued speaking "You guys are going to need VIP clearance, here, let me call them and let them know you're here." Max picked up the phone, and muttered some words into it, Aiden couldn't hear the words but he assumed that Max was simply alerting Rudolph of his presence, so he didn't care to even pay attention. Max set the phone down and said "They said go up the elevator, the armed guards will let you in, it's on the 10th floor."
Aiden and Sasha walked over to the elevator, which had been given a chrome door. Aiden thought this was a neat design; he liked it that he could see his reflection. Sasha on the other hand didn't like the door because she thought it was boring and lacked and colorful spirit within it; she needed something colorful in her life and neither her workplace nor Aiden seemed to supply it, everything about her current situation annoyed her, deep inside, she wanted to pull out her Taser and pump Aiden full of electricity just to make herself feel better, but she knew doing so would get her fired, so she closed her eyes and rested the back of her head against the wall as she stood with Aiden in the elevator.
When the door opened, a man with a grey beard and dark eyes walked in through the door. He wore a black trench coat, a white tie, and a silver trimmed SPAS 12 shotgun. Sasha was terrified by this at first, but then she noticed an ID cart strapped to the man's pocket, which clearly read "SECURITY". The man said in a deep Irish accent "Eh, this Aiden?" Sasha nodded and said "Yes, here's his ID." She handed the Irishman Aiden's wallet, which he stupidly kept loosely in his back pocket. "Eh, huld on, thar's clearly a problem here miss, thar's nuthing in dis wallet." Sasha groaned "Ugh... one of those damn girls probably stole everything." The Irishmen said "Pardon?" then he smiled "What girls?"
Sasha, embarrassed, explained the whole story to the Irishman, who in turn replied "Ah, my sister used to do that ta' me, with her friends, I had fun, I had a crush on one of them." The Irishman chuckled, Sasha stood dumbfounded by his reaction, the only thought that came into her mind was:
Are all men like this?
The Irishman glanced over his shoulder and yelled "Ay!"
Another man with a black trenchcoat and white tie opened the large metal door at the end of the hall, he had his gun drawn; a shiny chrome plated F1 FAMAS Assault rifle. The Irishman said "Yeh you, tell Mr. Rudolph that the Guiney Pig doesn't have his personal identification with him."
The other man closed the door, which closed with a loud bang. After a few minutes, Rudolph himself went through the door, and said "Yeah that's him, welcome Aiden! I heard from Max that you had a rough time at the gym, you need to learn to keep your wallet safe from strange girls."
Rudolph took Aiden by the shoulder and pointed him towards the door, Aiden walked in. Rudolph stopped in the hallway for a second and gave Sasha a serious look.
"Did he say anything?"
Sasha shook her head "I don't think so..."
Rudolph looked angrily at Sasha "You don't KNOW?"
Sasha "Look, when I arrived, he wasn't saying anything and they were still hitting him."
Rudolph groaned "How long did they have with him?"
Sasha shook nervously "Probably around ten minutes."
"Were they professionals?"
"No... just kids..."
"How many?"
"Seven."
"How old?"
"Seventeen."
"How beautiful?"
"W.... what?"
"How beautiful were they?"
"I don't know, they looked like his type."
"I swear that boy... he drives me out of my mind sometimes."
"You say that like you're his father."
"What?"
"Nothing..."
"Sigh... you did well tonight Sasha, would you mind helping him out of here?"
"Yes sir, I would mind it a lot."
"Why's that?"
"To be honest... he makes me want to shoot him with my Taser."
"I'll let you do it."
"W... what?"
"If he makes you want to shoot him with your Taser, then do it, you have my permission, just don't do it in public."
"Isn't that.. i... illegal?"
"Yep, but he knows he can't sue us, this company is his one ticket into making it bigtime. I want that boy whipped into better shape, and I know you're the girl to do it. We can't have him wrestling high school girls after he becomes the face of this product. I want you to make sure he doesn't do anything else stupid, no drugs, no girls, and ABSOLUTELY no alcohol."
"So you're asking me to be his mom for the next few months? I don't know if I'll be able to stand that."
"Think of yourself less as a mom, and more of an owner, he's your dog; if he's a bad dog and pees on the carpet, then you tell him no. If he is a good dog and pees on the fire hydrant, you reward him with some steak."
"But I hate dogs...."
"Then think of him as a cat, or a parrot, or whatever the hell you like."
"No, I'll think of him as a dog."
"What?"
"I hate dogs, I hate him, it makes sense I would treat him as a dog."
"Alright... just don't treat him too bad, we need him happy and healthy for when he playtests the formula in a few months at Yankee's Stadium."
Rudolph turned around and walked in through the door, followed by the Irish Security guard who almost fell asleep during Rudolph and Sasha's conversation. Sasha walked back into the elevator, and pressed the button for the ground floor, as the door closed, she smiled.
