Truth or dare

Charlie's P.O.V

Throughout the whole car journey to Leo's, Brooke was reading me fairy tales, I had to pretend I was interested, when really...I don't think anything has been as boring in my life, but I love Brooke, she's like my little best friend, she is so supportive of me and I love her to pieces.

I arrive at Leo's house, I haven't seen him for a few weeks now, I can't wait to record some more of our new single tomorrow, it's going to be such fun!!

I knock on the door, and receive a warm welcoming smile from Vicky. There seems to be another women in the living room...I take my bags into the dining room and place my coat on the hook. Peeking round the door, I see that the women with Vicky and now greeting my mum, is an unfamiliar face.

Leo would have usually come down to see me by now, finding everything out of the ordinary, I dash up the stairs, to find Leo in his bedroom, with a girl. Who was she?

"Hello" I say awkwardly.

They both turn to face me.

Leo gets up and walks over to me and gives me a nice bear hug that we always give each other.

After the hug had finished Leo introduced me to his lady friend.

"Charlie, this is one of my oldest friends, she's called Sophia and her family have come to visit"

"Hey" she smiles.

"Hi" I gleam at her.

She is honestly beautiful, the way her hair flows down her back, her eyes sparkle in the light, she is gorgeous.

"You ok charl"? Leo asks.

I shake out of my daydream.

"Yes" I say, trying not to make it obvious that I may slightly have a crush on Sophia.

Leo goes back and sits with Sophia, he has an air bed laid out on the floor and I decide to take a seat on that.

Sophia and Leo are on their phones, exchanging smiles and laughing about something that I know nothing about.

They switch off their devices and focus on the real world.

"So.." I say nervously.

Sophia giggles shyly.

No surprise at all... Leo giggles back at her.

I can't help thinking that those to are in love, secretly in love with each other. I don't know why I'm getting so paranoid, I've only just met Sophia, I just feel it's love at first sight, however Leo won't let me be with his best friend, especially if he has feelings for her too and to be honest I don't see how he can't, she is a pretty sight.

I glance over at Sophia, who seems to have picked up her phone, it looks like she is replying to a text message, the stress on her face is growing and I can tell something isn't right, she slams her phone down in frustration and pretends nothing happened, giving me a quick smile, she turns back and talks to Leo.

"Guys" I say.

"Yes" they say, at the same time.

"Shall we play something"? I ask.

"Like what"? Asks Leo.

"We could play truth or dare" suggests Sophia.

It's almost like that girl can read my mind, maybe it is meant to be after all? Ok...maybe I'm taking it a little too far.

"Ok" I reply.

"Truth or dare" Leo asks Sophia.

"Truth" she says, scared.

Me and Leo make Sophia block her ears whilst we discuss a truth to ask her, Leo comes up with, 'what is your most embarrassing moment' and we settle on that.

Leo shakes Sophia.

"Ok, Sophia" I say, "what is your most embarrassing moment"?

"I have a lot but... Oh yes! It has to be the time when I went on holiday to Spain and my trousers were way to big for me, and a group of boys asked me if I wanted to join them playing football and I was about to score a goal and my trousers fell down"

"Ok that's embarrassing" Leo laughs.

"Yes it is" I admit.

"Truth or dare" Sophia asks me.

"Truth please" I say, blushing.

I block my ears, hearing laughter and mutter.

"CHARL" Leo shouts.

I unblock my ears and listen to what they have to say.

"What is your guilty pleasure"? Sophia asks me.

"I collect soft toys" I say.

"Awww" Leo says.

"Ok Leo, block your ears" I say.

"Dare please" he says, whilst finger tips pressed against his ears.

Me and Sophia talk about what he should do, what we would love to see Leo doing, it was so nice to talk to her, I wasn't really paying attention on which dare. Sophia came to the conclusion that he had to sing the chorus of one of our songs.

When we told him his face went bright red, Leo thinks he can't sing, but honestly he really can.

He decides to sing hopeful, red in the face as he lets out those lyrics, but as he finished, me and Sophia told him he had the voice of an angel and shouldn't be afraid.

Leo smiled.
