[TUBBO POV]
(takes place after the banishment of Wilbur and Tommy)I straightened my collar, pausing slightly to admire my reflection in the mirror. My suit was trimmed to fit me perfectly, and it made me seem small. Dark puffy bags hung under my eyes, tinted red from crying. I didn't want to be here, not with him.
It had been two weeks since Tommy and Wilbur were banished. Two weeks of not knowing whether they were alive or dead. It took all my willpower not to dash into the forest to look for them. I'd been relying on Niki and my hope that my friends were alive. Yesterday the haunting yellow text appeared in the sky.Technoblade has joined the game
I remember schlatt was trying to keep calm, but shivering with rage. He flung a piece of glass at my cheek. The wound was already cleaned, but stung. I could hear Tommy's voice.
"Dont be such a baby, Tubbo. Stick up for yourself cause I won't always be around to do it." These words clung to my thoughts. Did he know? How could he have known?
You're being stupid Tubbo, I told myself. He just wanted to help you. I missed his laugh. I missed Wilbur's voice. I missed the way they would interact with each other.
I touched the mirror slightly, before walking towards the door. I had to start decorating.
The next few weeks blurred past, as I worked to complete the festival decorations. Everywhere I turned, I saw my exiled friends. Tommy appeared in the distance, Wilburs voice rang out over the loudspeakers. I couldn't take it anymore. Breathless, I dropped my blueprints and sprinted into the forest.
Branches whipped and cracked against my face and hands, whirring by as I dashed further into the wilderness. Tears were beginning to prick my eyes, and I wildly wiped them away. I couldn't afford to lose my wits out here. My legs pumped, and finally my spirit soared. Schlatt's bindings no longer concerned me. My sprint was beginning to catch up with me however, and I slowed down to catch the air in my lungs.
A faint flicker caught my eye. I turned, but it disappeared in an instant. Wishful thinking, I thought. I turned back around to continue my run before my body slammed into the dirt. The air left my lungs and i coughed harshly into the soil. A knee pressed against my back, and a low snarl left my attackers mouth.
"Who are you and what are you doing out here?" He shouted, pressing me further into the ground. I coughed again, trying to regain my breath.
"S-sorry, i didn't know anyone was out here. I'm just looking for some people. Have you-" I was cut off when the pressure on my back suddenly disappeared. The figure was standing straight upright, a shocked look frozen on his face. I staggered to my feet, breathing hard.
"Tu-Tubbo?" He whispered, his blue eyes looking shadowed. My heart dropped.
"TOMMY!" I shrieked, darting forward. He laughed and held out his arms. As I crashed into them, I remembered how much I missed his laugh. His hands circled around my back, squeezing tightly. I was crying now, hot tears slipping down my wind nipped cheeks. His shoulders shook.Tommy towered over me, and his face was buried in the crook of my neck. I whimpered again, my mind refusing to believe I was finally with him. Tommy was still tightly wrapped around me, and he barely released me to step back.
My friends face shone with tears, glistening in the sun. His lower lip trembled, and his cheeks were already streaming with more tears. I recognized his clothing from before L'manburg. His signature red capped tshirt and beige cargo pants. A green bandana was tied around his neck, and it was slightly ripped. He choked out the words,
