My eyes fluttered open and all I saw was darkness, I guess it's early then. I sat up and stretched. I glanced over at Emerald and she was still sound asleep. How much can that kid sleep?! I shook my head and stood up. I went to my bag. I summoned our bags late last night. I gathered my clothes and went to take a shower. I was only in there for a few minutes. I got dressed into a royal blue dress, it was tight on my body but it was elegant, I matched it with a pair of silver stilettos. I tied my hair into a half up half down hairstyle. I put on some eyeliner, mascara, some blue eyeshadow and a little bit of lip gloss. When I was happy with how I looked, I went to wake up Emerald so she could get ready. It took my 20 minutes to get her up and I dressed her in 1 hour.

Emerald now wore an emerald dress with white sandals and her hair was tied into a bun with a few curls around her face. We were ready to go. I summoned the bags back into the car and returned my key to the front desk and we were off. We left at 8:00.

6 hours left until we reached werewolf territory.

~~~
I have spent 6 hours listening to Emerald babbling about random things. Honestly I tuned out about an hour into the ride. We have about 15 minutes until we arrive. I felt my heart pounding and my palms were getting sweaty and I felt nervous. I tried calming my heart. They can't know about how nervous, but with them being werewolves and all they would be able to hear my heart pounding and smell my nervousness if it was strong enough. You know what they say, dogs can smell fear, what's to make this any different.
I glanced out the windows and saw some wolves running in the forest. I sighed. So it begins. For the next 15 minutes I drove in silence. Emerald was busy looking out the window, she saw the wolves and the castle and she was too amazed to speak a word. It was the same for me when I first came here. A long time ago. A whole different life.
The 15 minutes went by fast, the next thing I knew I pulled up to the gate. A werewolf peered out and glared,"Who are you? What are you doing here?" I looked at him through my sunglasses that I put on a while ago, he looked to be in his 20's he was young, probably a newbie, he was okay looking, for a werewolf. He had brown eyes and brown hair. He was muscular but too thin for my taste.
I glared at him, I pulled my glasses down so he saw my violet eyes. I noticed his eyes widened at my eyes, "I'm Queen Raven, show some respect and don't speak to a woman like that again. Now let me in. The king is expecting me." I pushed my sunglasses back up and looked forward. After he got over his shock he opened the gates. I drove forward. It took my 10 minutes to get to the entrance of the castle. I have to say they do have some pretty tight security. As soon as I pulled up the doors opened and two guards stepped out. I grabbed my purse and got out of the car. It felt nice to stretch my legs after the long drive. I went to the back seat and grabbed Emerald. I handed my keys to one of the guards, I didn't care to get a good look at him, "Careful of the car, I'm borrowing it. Don't worry about the bags, I'll get them later just bring us to the king." The guard who I handed the keys to nodded and drove the car away. I looked at the other guard, he was older and his eyes showed kindness and warmth, I dared not to believe those deceiving eyes.
"This way your Majesty." I nodded and followed him. Emerald squirmed in my arms as soon as we walked inside. "Fine, I'll let you down but don't leave my side, okay?" Her face brightened and she nodded. I let a small smile slip out and let her down. I quietly glanced around and everything seemed so elegant and large. This castle is truly beautiful. I caught the guard glancing at Emerald and I a couple times. I was about to say something when we reached the throne room. We walked in, everything was gold. The room was a huge dome. There was a platform straight ahead that held a gold throne. The throne wasn't what caught my attention, nor the man sitting in the chair, it was what was engraved in the wall behind him. It was a whole pack of wolves all different sizes and colors.
