Chapter 47 - Horcruxes

I skipped in to the manor, a gleeful smile plastered over my face. Nothing could get me down, I could swear it. Rabastian met me at the entrance,

Rabastian - "Wonder what's got you in a good mood."
Harry - "Not telling."
Rabastian- "Our lord had everyone looking for you."
Harry - "Am I not allowed to go out by myself?"
Rabastian - "Well, since you're our Lord's consort it isn't good for you to go out by yourself."
Harry - "You say that like you believe that bull crap"

Rabastian gave me a look which told me that he also believed that shit.

Rabastian - "Harry..
Harry - "Just don't Rab."

I stalked off towards the throne room. Remember when I swore that nothing could get me down? Yeah that did. Well nothing works better than an early birthday present. Walking into the throne room I was confronted with a stressed out Tom. When he saw me he rushed over and pressed a longing kiss to my lips. I pulled away and quickly and faced him,

Harry - "Miss me?"
Tom - "You are not to leave here again without someone."
Harry - "I'm quite capable of taking care of myself, thank you very much."
Tom - "Still love, something could have happened."
Harry - "Well then forgive me for going out and getting your birthday present."
Tom - "You got me a birthday present?"
Harry - "I was going to give it to you early but I don't think I will."
Tom - "You didn't need to get me a birthday present. No one ever has."
Harry - "Now I feel bad."
Tom - "Don't. You didn't know... How did you find out about it?"
Harry - "Your diary self might have mentioned it."
Tom - "My diary? When did you get it?"
Harry - "Lucius Malfoy snuck it into Ginny Weasley's cauldron in second year. She got scared of it and threw it in a toilet and then I found it."
Tom - "Where is it now?"

Tom asked me this with a sense of urgency that made me feel as if I had done something wrong. I hesitated before answering,

Harry - "I uhh.... kinda destroyed it, stabbed it with a basilisk fang. And then Dumbledore got it after."
Tom - "Lucius is going to pay, and I need to check up on all my other horcruxes."
Harry - "What are horcruxes?"
