For dinner they settled on a burger place in their hotel. Amelia had been nervous that they'd stick out in their outfits, but when she walked into the restaurant the reality that they were in Vegas hit her. There were all sorts of people seated inside. A few families, the mothers glancing anxiously around, but mostly young people around Amelia and Spencer's age who looked like they were fueling up for a night out. As they dived into their burgers, Amelia glanced at Spencer across the table. He wore a crisp white button up with black slacks and a black suit jacket. She'd unbuttoned the top few buttons as they waited for a table, and had barely been able to take her eye off of him since they'd sat down.
"C'hu lookin at?" Spencer smirked through a mouthful of french fries, washing them down with his third beer of the night.
"Nothin. You just look really hot tonight." She chuckled as he rolled his eyes.
"Yeah right, next to you I look like a shoe."
"Weird analogy, but you are very wrong." She laughed. "So, where are we going? Should I google some clubs or-"
"Don't worry about it, I've taken care of it." He watched as she raised an eyebrow, and was happy he'd thought to arrange something.
"Alright hotshot, let's pay this check and get the hell outta here."

As they stepped out of the uber, Amelia's jaw dropped. They were at a resort that looked like something out of a movie, a place they definitely couldn't afford. As she glanced around she saw dozens of people milling about, some waiting for cabs and others exiting them and heading into the building. She swore she noticed a few familiar faces among the crowd.
"Spence, I think that's freaking Nina Dobrev!" Spencer chuckled as Amelia clutched his arm excitedly. As they walked through the doors, he bent his head low towards Amelia and brushed his lips on her cheek, tripping as he made his way up the stairs.
"What on earth are you doing? You can barely walk a straight line normally, let alone after a few drinks and while trying to sneak a kiss," she laughed. She gave him a questioning look as he glanced over his shoulder towards the door.
"I, ah, may or may not be banned from this place."
"Spencer! What the hell?" Her jaw dropped but she couldn't help the grin that creeped in.
"Poker. It's all mathematical, they didn't like that I wasn't able to keep track of the cards in my head." He shrugged.
"So you cheated!"
"Shh!" He placed his hand over her mouth.
"Why didn't we just go somewhere else?"
"Well.."
"You're banned from more than one casino?"
"Uh, most of them, actually, here in Vegas. As well as ones in Laughlin and Pahrump." She looked at him in amazement, wondering how she never knew this sooner. She laughed as she shook her head before looping her arm through his again.
"Alright, bad boy. Where are we going?"
They wove through the crowds, most of which seemed to be flowing in the same direction as them. When they approached the club, Amelia groaned. The line wrapped out of the club and through the hallway, well over 100 people long.
"Ugh, we're never gonna make it in." She pouted.
"Actually, let's try something." He made his way toward the front of the line.
"Spence! People are glaring! Let's just-"
"Na uh, kid. She can come in, though," the bouncer said, giving Amelia a look that made her skin crawl.
