Chapter 1...Purple Headache

" Oh no, " I said as my sister and I forcefully dropped our box. " Oh crap," she said.
We're moving. This was one of the last boxes ,and our 10 year old bones was not built for this. "Language honey,"our mom reprimands.

We are moving to a new house, same state, but different city. We are moving to pickerylane. It's a nice chill area. It's autumn now and I can not wait to see the colorful leaves in front of our new home.

My family and I lived in our old house for 10 years. My parents bought the house when I was born. My parents say the blue exterior of the house inspired my mom's creative breeze. Whatever that means?

My mom is an artist. In the words of my mother, her career is to inspire and inform by pouring imagery and magic on to a canvas.
Crazy right...

I looked over at my sister and listlessly shouted , "Come on, Gracie." My little sister is 8. We are one heck of a team.
She briefly replied, "Ok, lets go."

We lifted the heavy box and roughly placed it in the movers van. I wisphered, " I hope nothing is broken." I went to our car in the drive way. My sister and I sitting in the back.
Our parents occupied the front. My mom beginning to pull off.

As we drove by I looked out the window. I saw a cat with brown and white fur. It was beautiful. I was in awe. The cat's head turned towards mine. Our eyes in paralleled admiration. The cat's eyes turning from hazel brown to a shocking electric purple.

My head felt funny. I laid my head down in the window seal. I was dreaming of my new house and purple skies.
