This is dedicated to the kids who died, and to the parents who will mourn greatly. The killers were cowards under the swagger, and there should be justice, for him getting away with such a crime.

You're in that room,
Looking outside,
Just a small peek,
Into the night,
Your bravery crushed,
Your soul shattered,
Your bones showing,
Your heart battered,
Behind closed eyelids,
An awful past begins,
A crime committed,
One too many sins,
Your dreams are lost,
Disappeared long ago,
Broken and frail,
A happiness you'll never know,
Never to know your first love,
Never to hold a hand,
Step out into the light,
Never to understand,
They stripped you from everything,
Before you could learn,
And they'll pay,
A punishment, they'll surely earn,

And into the home,
Your own sweet place,
A comfortable dome,
Then it's outside,
Into the wild,
From fearful to brave,
From infant to child,
But then it was taken,
You're not alive,
You lost those dreams,
You didn't survive,
So you're still in that room,
And you curl up to cry,
To mourn the true fact,
And why did you die,
No day of sunlight,
No more daily routines,
No marriage, or family,
No finger with a committed ring,
A man took this lovely thing,
A thing called life,
Some adore it,
Some hate the strife,
But you never lived it out,
It's too late to live on,
But at least we know one thing,
You were once,
Once very strong...<\3
