Bokuto and Akaashi were walking the streets of a small town in England(generic much). They were taking a vacation from work and decided to visit Bokuto's sister and her husband for a week. Bokuto hadn't seen his sister since she moved here a few months ago.
They didn't know how they ended up in this town because it was most certainly not the one she lived in, but as long as the two were together they were happy. Okay maybe they were better off if Bokuto got to see Kuroo every once in a while, but shhhhh that's not important right now.
Akaashi was looking in the windows of all the small shops lining the street when Bokuto ran ahead. The former setter turned his head toward the direction that Bokuto ran in. His fiancé may be 25 years old but he still had the mind of a child. He couldn't complain though, that was the man he agreed to marry one day and loved with his whole being.
Bokuto had ran towards a flower shop with a little cafe attached to it. 'How cliche can this man be?' Akaashi thought. 'He asked me out on our first date after we won our first volleyball game his final year of high school. Our first date was to some restaurant with a movie afterwards. He proposed under the moon after a date. He's so cliche it's disgusting'
Akaashi continued to think about how cliche his fiancé was while he walked towards the shop that had sparked the thought. Bokuto was standing in front of the flower shop cafe, waiting for Akaashi. He was bouncing on his heels and filled with excitement. This was the perfect place for him to ask Akaashi if they can start planning their wedding.
They had been engaged for a year, but after he proposed life picked up and they never had time for a wedding. Akaashi had finished his schooling to become a teacher, specifically a high school teacher. Bokuto had finally landed a well paying job working with kids. He also helped coach a kids volleyball team sometimes but that was volunteer work.
Akaashi stepped beside Bokuto and raised an eyebrow at him. He wanted to know why Bokuto would want to go here. Knowing Bokuto, there could be an actual reason or he could just want to be in an nice location for the "✨aesthetic✨" Bokuto just smiled at him and it made Akaashi's heart melt. 'Gods, I love him'. Akaashi thought as he smiled back.
'His glasses make him so much cuter! Omg I'm going to cry! Why is my Akaashi so cUTE?' Bokuto thought as he grabbed Akaashi's hand. He didn't make any other move to walk inside the building. He just stared at Akaashi wondering how he was so lucky to have this man love him as much as he did.
" So are we going to go in or do you want to go back to your sister's house? I don't mind which one you choose but we can't just stand here, love," Akaashi teasingly said. Bokuto's ears started to turn pink. He was supposed to be the once who embarrassed Akaashi but it never seemed to go that way.
"Ahh, let's go in, Keiji. We can have fun later once my sister is asleep. I don't want her to walk in on us like she did that one time. She told everyone else and it was embarrassing!" Bokuto yelled the last part, drawing unneeded attention to the couple. Despite the unwanted attention, Akaashi stilled laughed quietly at his love. "You don't understand how embarrassing it is to have your grandma tease you about taking it up the ass. Of course it was the one time I bottomed that she walked in!"
Iahdhskwdhjake I wrote this like two months what the fuck I am disgusted why did I do this did I think it was funny or some shit what the fuck what the actual fuck I'm going to kill my self over this I hate myself
Akaashi had to laugh at that. There was no way he couldn't. Bokuto refused to ever bottom again after that experience even though he didn't hate being a bottom. It wasn't like Akaashi has gotten away with having sex at his house either. His dad walked in on them as they were finishing in Akaashi's final year of school. His dad had talked with the two afterwards because Akaashi had failed to mention to his family that he had a boyfriend, let alone a boyfriend who he was far enough in a relationship to have sex. Akaashi's brother had walked in on the conversation and thought it was hilarious.
IT GOT WORSE AAHHHHHAHSHSKJSJDSJS WHY DID I DO THIS KILL ME KILL ME GOVERNMENT PEOPLE IM GIVING MY CONSENT FOR YOU TO KILL ME NOW
"Let's go in, Kou. We look weird standing out here." Akaashi dragged Bokuto in the shop/cafe by their linked hands. It was warm inside the flower cafe. (author here to say that I am going to say the name in a minute because I'm tired of writing flower shop cafe❤️) The smell of bread, coffee, and a variety of flowers filled the couples noses. There was only a few other people in the building dubbed The Blooming Latte. The aura in the cafe was comfortable.Akaashi walked to the counter, leaving Bokuto to look at the flowers. He bought them both some pastries and coffees, lots of sugar in Bokuto's even if it would make him more hyper. He just wanted his future husband to be happy today and didn't care about the consequences of giving him sugar.
Looking around the shop to find where Bokuto was, Akaashi seen he was sitting at a table in the corner by a window. He still looked happy but seemed a bit more serious than usually. As Akaashi walked towards him, he thought of what could be going inside his precious owl's head.
'ONG( reference to another haikyuu story on Wattpad) AM I ACTUALLY ABOUT TO ASK ABOUT STARTING WEDDING PLANNING!! THAT MEANS THAT A WEDDING WILL BE SOON!! I'LL HAVE TO ASK KUROO TO BE MY BEST MAN!! IT IS ONLY RIGHT SINCE I WAS HIS AT HIS AND KENMAS WEDDING!! ONG WHAT AM I DOING!!' was what Bokuto was thinking. 'OH SHIT AKAASHI IS WALKING OVER!! Be cool Kou. Be cool.'
(Okay this is actually funny to me)
Akaashi sat down across from Bokuto and gave him his coffee and food. " I can tell something is on your mind, love. Do you want to talk about it?" Akaashi questioned. Leaving Bokuto to his thoughts was never a good idea. If one thought Bokuto was bad during his 'emo mode', then they had a storm coming when he was in his 'i was alone for too long and now regret living mode' as he and Kuroo had called it.This was it. Bokuto would ask about the wedding. He didn't know why he was so scared to do it. It was almost as scary as the actual proposal. He took a sip of his coffee and tasted the sugary sweetness. 'He actually let me have sugar? That's so sweet, no one else lets me. Not even Kuroo...that bastard.' He took a deep breath and looked Akaashi in the eyes. Blue met gold and Bokuto finally said what he's been thinking about for the past week.
"I want to start actually planning the wedding. I-I'm ready to finally be able to call you my husband. We have had a lot going on since I proposed, and so we never talked too many details afterwards and that's okay, bu-but I think I am done waiting. I want you to be Bokuto Keiji. " He was scared when Akaashi didn't immediately respond but he gave him more time.
Akaashi's stare pierced his flesh and went straight into his soul. Akaashi almost looked confused but soon started to speak. " Is-is this what you looked so scared about telling me? Kou, of course I want to start planning our wedding! I want to be Bokuto Keiji too. That's been my dream since my first year in high school. " Akaashi stood up smiling and walked around the table to hug Bokuto.
Bokuto was like a Christmas tree, lit up and looking magical. (I'm sorry that was horrible) They were actually doing this. It wasn't just a promise for the future. It was actually going to be happening. He hasn't been this happy since Akaashi said yes to his proposal. He hugged Akaashi back as strong as he could without hurting his fiancé.
For the rest of the day, even as they left the little shop that was now part of their story that Akaashi said he would one day write down so it will never be forgotten, they talked and talked about plans for their wedding. Akaashi said he was going to get Kenma to be his best man since they were close. They would have a blue and gold theme with owls dotted around. They would have a lot of people to contact and invite but it was worth it to have all their friends who helped them through life there.

So I actually really like the way this turned out. It think this is the best thing I've ever written.
Also about the story of their love that was briefly mentioned at the end, it would totally be called Bokuaka's Totally Awesome Love Story .
I looked back over this and I want to say what the fuck past me. I get that cringe culture is dead na do respect that but imma summon it back just because of this story. I have no memory of writing parts of this so I'm sorry for anyone who has read this. Now I'm going to go read really good fanfiction on this site called The Hyacinth Prophecy by theprodigypenguin. I highly recommend it if you like the TOA series.
