The next day I woke up by loud yelling coming from outside. All night long my roommate kept making noise and keeping me awake. By four in the morning a guy nurse came in and took a blood sample from me, leaving me dizzy and exhausted.
It was now 6 a.m and my head was killing me, making me feel like death. I got up and walked outside seeing people making line. "Come on guys!" A male nurse was yelling, "Morning check outs."
I groaned and walked towards the line of sleepy teens, not in the mood for any of this. I ignored the small talk going around me and the quick glances. I stood in the line staring at the floor until something caught my ear, "She's the new girl right?"
"Yeah, she came in yesterday."
"She's kinda cute."
My cheeks started blushing furiously at the last part. Thank god I was next. I took a sit in the chair on front of me and they took my pulse and temperature. The nice lady from yesterday was there, her name was Aaron I believe. She looked at temperature taker thing and clicked her tongue. "You have a fever Cabello. You should go back to your room and rest. We'll give you medicine once we get your parents approval.
I murmured an "okay" and heading to my assigned room. That's when I decided to look up and caught a small glance of green eyes before hurrying myself to bed. I flopped on the bed and let out a breath of relief. Finally, some sleep.
The next time I woke up it was 3 p.m and I was feeling kind of better. I got out of bed and noticed there was no one in the room and the bed next to me had new sheets. Shrugging it off, I grabbed my toothbrush and paste from the brown bag Aaron gave me and headed towards the bathroom door.
Knocking first (not wanting to walk in on someone) I went inside. There wasn't really anything to see, just a simple toilet and a sink, a mirror hanging over it. I quickly used the toilet, brushed my teeth and looked at myself in the mirror. I look like shit. Smell like it also.
I went back inside the room and sighed. "Might as well go outside." Ignoring my horrible appearance, I headed outside and walked towards the cafeteria. Once I got inside the, I noticed there was only a few people there. And again, not wanting to socialize (and because I smell like a monkey), I sat down by myself.
Moments later a short brunet and two other guys came and sat by my side. "Hey you must be the new kid." She gave me a quick hug and said, "I'm Ally."
I slightly surprised by her forwardness, I blushed and immediately thought 'wow, she smells nice.' I must have been really awkward seeing she was shifting slightly and nervously smiled, "Not a talker I see. Well it's okay. This are Harry and Louis." She first pointed at a guy with brown curly hair with green eyes and then to a shorter boy with brow messy hair with blue eyes.
The one names Harry kindly smiled at me, making his dimples sink in, and took his hand out, "Nice to meet you. May we at least know your name."
I blushed, he's too charming. Have I mentioned I blush a lot? Well do. A lot. I shook the curly haired boy and returned his smile. "Camila."
"Well Cameeeeeela, welcome to Never Land," Louis bursted in, opening his arms gesturing to the surroundings. "I am sure you will love it here. Believe me you will. Everyone is super nice here."
"Suuuuper nice." Ally repeated.
"And we're like family . No one gets left behind. We have games and snacks and it's just really fun." He leaned in and whisper shouted, "Remember to come to group , we get to talk there, and the more you go the faster you'll get out."
I laughed at his silliness. The other two joined in and patted Louis on the back, "You totally just contradicted yourself there, mate."
He glared at there at snapped his fingers. "Well, I'm just saying, incase she gets too annoyed by you two and wants to get out of here."
Before the conversation could go any further, a nurse asked us to go back to our rooms since it was visit time. The three of them gave me a quick goodbye before heading off to their rooms.
I stepped in the bedroom and that's when the killing headache came. I instantly got myself under the pillows and groaned lowly.
Screw my life.
