Chapter 2, Dresses or suits

I woke up from my alarm. It's 9 am. Myrthe isn't awake is see. I get out of bed and make breakfast for us both. Some eggs on bread. She likes that a lot! When I 'm done I hear her coming out of bed.

'Hi Myrthe, have you slept well?' I ask 'Hmm yeah, not well. Too excited for tomorrow.' she says while chewing. 'Yeah same. What do you want to do today?' I ask her. 'Hmm, well maybe we should go shopping for our outfit. Cuz we are coming backstage. Is that an idea?' she asks me. 'Yes, that's a great idea! When do you want to go?' 'Uh, well you are done with your breakfast. So make yourself ready. I'm gonna do the dishes and make myself ready after that.' she responds. 'Great idea.' I say.

I walk to the bathroom to wash myself, put my hair in a bun, do my make up and then brush my hair. I walk to the bedroom. Make up the bed and put on some cute clothes. A pair of jeans, a cute top and some vans. I walked back to our kitchen and I see that Myrthe is done with the dishes. 'I'm gonna make me ready.' she says. 'That's okay, take your time.' I respond

When Myrthe is ready we take the bus to the centrum. While walking to the bus I ask Myrthe: 'Do we have to wait in the long, long queue?' 'No,' she says. 'we are allowed to take the VIP enter.' 'Oh, that's good! I seriously can't wait for tomorrow.' I respond 'Same haha!'

*Your location is on your left* A girl walks by, she clearly doesn't know what she's doing. 'Hey, can I help you?' I ask her. 'Oh hi, well I want to go to the mall, but my navigation doesn't really help. Do you know where the mall is?' 'Oh yes, walk past this street, then go to the right. And there is the mall!' 'Thank you a lot!' she responds. 'We are going also to the mall. You can come with us if you want.' Myrthe says. 'Oh no, someone is waiting for me. But thanks.' she says with a fake smile. And she walks away.
I hate it when people fake smile. 'Woah, that was kinda weird.' Myrthe says. 'Yeah what the h.ell.' I respond.

Within a few minutes we arrive at the mall. The first shop we're going is Absolute Vintage. We both LOVE vintage clothes. But we don't see a lot for the concert.

'I am not sure if I want to wear a suit or a dress.' I say to Myrthe. 'Well in what do you feel the most comfortable?' she asks me. 'Well I am not quite sure, but I'd be more comfortable in a suit. But not like a suit that all the boys wear when school is having a party.' I say. 'Oh I know what you mean. Maybe we can match. But in different colours. I know a shop! Come with me.' and she literally pushes me out of Absolute Vintage.

I don't know where she's going to bring me. She's being so mysterious.

'We arrived!' she says enthusiast. I look around, this shop is not really a big one. But the clothes they have is amazing. Dresses, Suits everything you need for a wedding or party. 'Can I help you two?' a woman asks. It kinda scared me. But I realized I zoned out for a bit. 'Uh yes please.' Myrthe says. 'Well welcome to my store. My name is Ashley. How can I help you?' 'Hi Ashley,' and I shake her hand. 'my name is Lyan. This girl next to me is a really good friend of mine.' 'Hi I'm Myrthe. Nice to meet you.' Myrthe says. 'Tomorrow is the Harry Styles concert, and we are allowed to come back-.' I say but Myrthe gives me a little push. 'You can't say that, don't ask me why i'll tell you when we're home.' she whispers. 'Uh- yeah well we have a concert. Harry Styles. And we want to have something to wear.' Myrthe says. 'Oh okay? And what exactly are you looking for? We've got cocktail dresses, long dresses, we have-' but I cut her off. 'No, not a dress, well I don't know what Myrthe wants. But I want a suit. But not a suit that boys wear at school parties you know?' 'Oh, well come my way.' Ashley says a bit irritated. Probably because I cut her off. We walk with her. And I am not quite sure if this is the women or men section. I don't really care to be honest. 'So this section is for people. There are men clothes and women clothes. Because some people are not really comfortable in the "gender" thing.' she says. I hate it when people say it that way, but she probably means it in a good way. 'Thanks ma'am, if we have questions we tell you!'

After hours of searching, laughing and try things on, we finally have a good outfit. 'I am sooo happy we have such good outfits!' I say when we walk out of the store. 'Yeah same!' Myrthe says. 'Hey but shall we eat at a restaurant? I am very tired and I don't really want to make food tonight.' 'Sure which one?'

After we came back home, we both make us ready for the night. 'Goodnight, tomorrow is the day!!' Myrthe says. 'Yes, I'm really excited. Goodnight.'
