A/n: okay, so it may seem like Virgil bonded with nobody over his thanksgiving break, but fear not, when Virgil shows Remus his video recordings, there will be descriptions of him bonding and hanging out with them.

Remus was sending Virgil updates of Roman and Linda's state everyday. Virgil was confused on how Remus seemed to know exactly what was happening with Linda when Remus hadn't been receiving any texts about it from anyone.

Janus told him that some things were best left without an answer.

Roman hadn't woken up yet. Even days after.

Virgil hadn't told anyone about what Brady said to him. Virgil knew something had happened while he was asleep because when he came back down, hours later, Brady was looking real salty, and a little ashamed that he'd made such a scene in front of everyone.

Virgil didn't talk to him, and he didn't talk to Virgil. Virgil had a great time playing with the younger kids and Victoria though.

Lucia mother was completely livid with Brady, and didn't trust herself to be around him without having a mental breakdown, so just went to comfort Virgil.

It had been days after the incident and Virgil wasn't feeling much better. This was all making him rethink some serious things.

Why didn't his dad love him?

Why is he the way he is?

Why was all of this happening to him?

Why couldn't he just be dead?

"Hey Virgie I love you!" Remus smiled as face-time finally picked up.

Virgil smiled. That's why.

"Hey I love him more" Janus smirked.

And that.

"So, guys..I have something to tell you when I get home..."

"Why not tell us now?" Remus asked.

"Well it's about the camera..I want to show you guys what I filmed" Virgil explained.

They had all agreed to that, and couldn't wait to see the awkward Virgil videos.

Virgil heard his name from the other room and paused the tv he was watching. People were talking about him.

"Julia you have to get Brady to apologize!" Amelia whisper shouted.

"It doesn't mean anything if you force him to do it. It has to come from him, he has to be truly sorry" Lucia argued.

"You've always been such a softy, come on, Virgil doesn't care about weather he means it or not"

"Hey you can't decide what Virgil feels and doesn't feel" Lucia chuckled, "he's a teenager, you gotta flip a coin, he's completely random..like one minute he's ready to make a sassy remarks and be a sarcastic coffee-addict mess, then the next he's crying because he saw a spider in the bathroom."

'Way to expose me, Jesus' Virgil thought, covering his face in embarrassment.

"All things said though, Brady had no right to say any of that to Virgil! He just walked into the room and decided he didn't like him! Is he normally like this?" Lucia asked.

"Oh, yes. He's usually so rude to everyone, he loves getting reactions and making people cry...he's like a school bully that makes kids suicidal. This was the last straw, i'm sure his father gave him a stern talking to when they got home. I know I did. He's a little bit too old for time outs and spankings" Julia explained.

"People like that make me loose my mind" Amelia sighed.

"Sometimes a child does deserve a good beat down" Julia sighed.

"I never know what age is appropriate for that kind of thing. Twelve, maybe? Well, I don't believe in spankings...maybe a quick pop on the mouth if they say something bad, but i'd just feel so guilty...We've gotten a lot of those in our lifetime" Lucia chuckled.

"Yeah right Ms. Perfect! You've never done anything bad a day in your life! While everyone else was sneaking out to go see boys, or go to parties, what were you doing? Studying for the latest exam. And somehow you ended up with the worst paying job out of all of us" Amelia smirked.

"I finished college but I just never figured out what I wanted to do, so I kept on doing a bunch of part time jobs..i've been working part time at a bakery/café for fourteen years at least, and seven years ago I graduated to full time as the cashier, though I got promoted to actually baking two years ago, and everybody loves it when It's my day to come in and work..I have a way with customers" she smiled.

"Great, another thing to add to your perfect list" Amelia chuckled.

"It doesn't pay much though. The bakery is very old, and the boss has been trying to remodel it, something that's hip with the youngsters. Make it cozy and relaxing, just a chill space, you know?"

"Wow how did we end up talking about jobs..gosh, we're so old" Amelia chuckled.

"Yeah..well, me and Virgil better start packing up..we're leaving tomorrow"

"Awee, come on!" Amelia pouted.

"It has to happen eventually" Lucia chuckled.

She was about to walk into the room Virgil was sharing when she remembered how much she hated it when her mom would never knock, so she stopped herself and knocked.

Victoria opened the door and Virgil was there, smiling, holding Cecelia in his lap. "He's talking about his childhood" Victoria whispered with a chuckle.

"You know I used to have a little sister" Virgil chuckled, "she was real small..you're pretty tiny too"

Cecelia snuggled into Virgil's chest, and Virgil's heart melted.

He loved children.

Not in a weird way.

He just thought they were cute.

...Oh you know what I mean.

Lucia cleared her throat before explaining they were leaving tomorrow.

Everyone in the room seemed sad, but Lucia was excited to get home and tell Katlin how the kids were bonding.
