I was drunk.
I was hella drunk, I kept on drinking, cause at this point I felt numb and that's the only feeling I wanted to feel at this moment. No cares, worries, emotions-just having fun involved with no crushes.
That's why they call it a crush because in the end all it does is crushes you. Your heart, your everything.
As I gulped down-I don't know maybe my twelfth shot I wanted to find one of my friends. I didn't care if it was Yugyeom, Miyoung, or Jeongyeon. Just one of them.
I walked through the crowd, the music blaring in my eardrums, the lights flashing, the people's sweaty touch from all of them dancing. I was dizzy, really dizzy.
Then all of the sudden I saw Jeongyeon.
I stumbled over to her and grabbed her shoulders making her turn around.
"Jeongyeonnn I'm swo happy I fund ya.."My slurred speech being noticeable.
"Sooomi...thwere you are! Where haf ya been all night?" She was also very drunk.
For a good solid 20 minutes I think we were just standing there talking about completely different things or having a staring contest.
She won the staring contest because I got distracted by seeing a person go up to a guy whispering something. I could only see figures. I couldn't really see their faces because everything was so blurry. But, for some reason that got my attention.
Soon enough the guy figure started coming towards Jeongyeon and me.
"Hey Jeongyeon what's up! Love the party!" He was addressing Jeongyeon but staring right into my eyes.
For some reason I got this weird feeling. He stared at me like he wanted to devour me or something. So I brushed it off and thought maybe he just wants to make out.
They were still talking but I was out of it I kept seeing something but I couldn't tell what. All of the sudden I was snapped out by seeing only the guy in front of me.
"Hey earth to Soomin." He was waving his hand in front of my face.
I snapped out of my trance.
"Wha" I said dazed.
"W-where did Jeongi goo?" I quickly realized she was gone.
"Oh, I asked her if we could just talk...you're really pretty." He said rubbing the back of his neck.
I just stared at him disinterested, "do ya wanna make out her somethin?"
His eyes widened. "Woah, I mean you don't even know my name yet..."
