Jungkook's POV
Knock knock.
That knock rhythm seems familiar..
I turn my head towards the door, then I noticed that Tae's belongings were back in it's place..
What? We got rid of them last week..
I was in disbelief, I think I'm hallucinating. Then a voice came.
"Jungkook-ah, please open the door."
Tae?!
I immediately got off of the window seat and unlocked the door, opening it to so him.
"Tae.. Hyung.."
I was speechless, I must be hallucinating for sure. I slowly back away once Tae took a step into the room. I watch him place down a tray of food and water.
Is this a dream?
I watch him look around the room. Then a smile formed on his face. That familiar, warm smile he has. That's when a tear fell down my cheek. And then he looks at me.
"It's been a while Jungkookie." Tae said.
Taehyung's POV
Jungkook runs up to hug me tightly almost knocking the both of us over.
"This must be a dream... I hope it never ends.." Jungkook mumbles, audible for Taehyung to hear.
"It isn't, Jungkook." I replied.
Jungkook breaks the hug and slowly touches Taehyung's cheek. Warm. More tears come down his face as he knows that Taehyung, is alive.
"H-How.?" Jungkook asked.
"I'll explain, but please eat. You can eat at the window seat while I explain everything to you." I responded.
As I see Jungkook nod, I take the tray and we both walk over to the window seat.
May 31st, 2020 9:13 a.m.
I look over to Jungkook after explaining everything. He had his cheeks stuffed with food and had a shock look for a moment making me giggle, adoring his face even more. Eventually he finished his breakfast.
"Hyung, aren't you still mad that I yelled at you? I'm the reason you went out and you were killed.." Jungkook said as he looked away.
"Jungkook-ah, look at me." I said. It took him a while before he looked. "I'm not mad whatsoever.. it's not your fault that I died." I said softly.
Then I looked out the window.
Such a beautiful view.
The first time in a while, I haven't seen Seoul like this. A beautiful sky with some clouds, birds flying in the morning, trees swaying, people off to work, students walking to school with siblings and friends.
"Hyung, I'm sorry for yelling at you and saying rude things to you.. it was highly rude of me to say such harsh things to you.."
My eyes soften when I turn over to Jungkook. His eyes were watery. He had the same puffy and dark circles beneath his eyes.
"It's okay Jungkook-ah, I already forgave you."
"But-"
"Jungkook."
He stayed silent. As I hugged him and can feel how thin he was, it worries me a lot.
"Have you been eating properly?"
Jungkook shakes his head.
"Have you been sleeping well?"
His head shakes again.
"Since I'm back, I want the best for all of you guys."
Jungkook nods and rests his lays his head on Taehyung's lap.
"I'm glad you're back hyung.." Jungkook said as he closed his eyes.
He's tired.
"Me too, just sleep, Jungkookie." I said patting his long, curly hair.
You are quite a special person Taehyung.. you've fixed a lot today. You always surprise me you know?
Thanks for the compliment Ha-Neul.
I'll remind you how much time you have left, three months from now on.
Thank you.
Goodbye.
Bye.
I guess I should also take a nap..
Slowly I closed my eyes and drifted off the sleep.
