"Korra, I would assume." A soft voice comes from behind the angel. Korra stops in her tracks, turning to look over her shoulder where the figure of a woman leans against a dark doorway.
"You would assume correctly." Korra says, the face of the figure is masked by the darkness of the hall, Korra tried to make out their features by the lamp hanging just in between the two of them. "Who are you?"
"You probably wouldn't know me." She took a few steps forward, enough to be illuminated by the dim yellow light. Korra took a sharp intake, the woman's features were striking, perfect obsidian locks framed her porcelain face. The stunned angel thought she looked a bit like an add for the crimson lipstick she was sporting.
"Asami." The angel said, she picked at the sleeve of her green military style jacket, comparing the simplicity of her own ensemble to the other's sleek black pantsuit.
"Ah," The other nodded. "You do know me."
"I know of you." The angel corrected. "We have never met, you have no quarrel with me demon." She spit the last word like an insult.
The demon simply raised a perfect eyebrow. "I never said I had a quarrel with you. Can't a demon want to say hi to an angel?" She smiles innocently.
"And why me?"
"I've read your blog." Asami shrugs.
Korra's eyes widen, her cheeks heating, just slightly.
"Don't look so scandalised." Asami takes to looking at her nails, picking at them like a character in a film.
"I'm not scandalised! I'm just... confused? Why would you read my blog? It's about amusement parks?"
"The human world enthralls me, but blogs written by humans are so basic. At least yours I can understand without falling asleep."
"You've never been to an amusement park?"
"Not many celestial beings share your interest in humanity." She pulls out a pocket watch from a pocket in her pantsuit (much to the confusion of Korra). "I'd best be going... And if you ever need company on one of your amusement park 'excursions', you know where to find me."
