Changed... || Reader in Hogwarts ||

Chapter 4- First day

Today is Y/N's first day of being taught at Hogwarts. At 7 am, she meets Crabbe and Goyle and Draco at their usual spot for breakfast.

"So what electives did you pick, Y/N?" Goyle asked.

"Care of Magical Creatures and Divination." Y/N said with a smile.

"I knew you would pick the right ones." Crabbe said with a wink.

"So what's our first class, boys?" Y/N asked.

"Potions." Draco answered.

"Ron. Hey Ron? Ron?!" Hermione asked.

"RON?!" Hermione lashed.

"Uh-rm, yea?" Ron asked.

"What has gotten into you?! Hello??"

Ron's focus disappeared again. Harry gave a smirk.

"Harry, do you know what's up with this hooligan?" Hermione questioned.

"I think he's in love. He can't get his eyes off of Y/N!" Harry replied.

"OoooOooo." Hermione smirked.

"Bloody hell, be quiet." Ron exclaimed.

"Seems like someone finally got their train of thought. Now please tell us!" Hermione beamed.

"Tell you what?" Ron asked.

"Why you like her, of course!" Hermione answered.

"She has these... eyes... and her hair is unlike no other! And she seemed really nice when we met her yesterday-"

"Yea, but she's a Slytherin. Clearly, something is up." Harry interrupted.

"So what? What's so wrong with a little bit of difference? Spice things up, you know?" Ron claimed.

"Well, I think it's about time someone gets a girlfriend, Ron." Hermione smiled, "What about you, Harry? Will you help?"

"Perhaps, I will." Harry gave a smile, "...once we finally get to class!"

"Oh no!" Hermione exclaims. The three of them dashed to their first class.

"Good morning, class." Professor Snape said, "Today we will be partnering up for a new project. In total, we will have 14 pairs. Before you get to excited, I must say that I will be picking our pairs."

A wave of groans filled the room.

"Perhaps the purpose of the project will enlighten you all. You and your partner will be given a book of potions that we haven't made before in my class, and attempt to create the potion and to learn the history and usage behind it. You must create a presentation of this potion for your classmates to see. Today, you will start by meeting your partner and picking your potion."

"Wouldn't it be great if us four were split into two pairs?" Crabbe asked.

"Yeah, that would be awesome!" Y/N exclaimed.

"Yeah, it would be pretty great... but the thing is is if we were to be split up, me and Y/N would have a way better presentation than you guys." Draco smirked.

"You tell em' Malfoy!" Y/N added. They both gave each other a high five.

"Tsk tsk, Malfoy. It doesn't even matter who Y/N gets. It matters who gets her, because you'll automatically get a super high grade just by being her partner." Crabbe said.

"Are you saying that I'm not as smart as her?" Draco asked.

"Perhaps he is, Malfoy." Y/N said with a smirk.
