waking her with kisses

The sunlight hit your back, the golden rays shining right onto your warm skin. You stirred in your sleep, soon waking up with a smile on your face when you moved your leg, only to feel Ashely's tangled with your own.

You opened your eyes and saw her lying there beside you. Her blonde locks were spread out across the pillow, her lips parted as her soft, steady breaths fell from her lips. She looked beautiful and you lied there still for a few minutes, taking pictures in your mind to cherish on the days you couldn't spend together for whatever reasons.

You looked toward the clock on her nightstand. It was after ten in the morning and though you were happy she'd had the chance to sleep in and has obviously slept well, you know the rest of the days coming up for her are gonna be hectic since she's got a lot of filming and interviews to do, and you wanted to spend the day with her.

You moved closer to her and placed your hand on her side. She let out a little hum but stayed asleep, though you saw her smiling a little, too. You brushed back a lock of hair that was moving to cover her eyes. You caressed her cheek then leaned forward to lay a kiss on her smooth skin.

She moved at your touch but her eyes stayed closed. So you let your lips trail from her cheek and to her lips. Only, you didn't kiss them. Instead, you kissed below them and then moved to lay kisses to her chin.

She was smiling a little, slowly waking from her peaceful slumber.

"Good morning."

"I'm still sleeping." She mumbled tiredly but she seemed to change her mind when your lips touched hers and she went to cup your cheek in her hand, soaking in the soft morning kiss.

"We've got the day to spend together. Are you sure you want to spend it asleep?"

"Yes," she mumbled, but opened her eyes and let out a tired giggle. "Of course not. Wanna spend it with you."

"I'd like to spend it by your side."

She let out a long sigh and brushed the sleep out of her eyes before turning to you. She leaned over and caressed your cheek before saying, "Thanks for staying with me last night."

"Thanks for letting me stay."

"You're welcome to stay anytime you'd like." She mumbled and leaned in for another kiss. "Breakfast?"

You nodded happily and let her take you by the hand to go into the bathroom to brush your teeth before you'd get ready to go out for a nice breakfast together.
