Chapter 32

Diggy's P.O.V.

I heard Danielle crying around 5 this morning. I knew YN was on the verge of exhausted so I got up quickly before her whines could wake YN.

I opened me and YN's hotel room door, walked across the tiny hall and opened Danielle's. She's so cute. Her hair was everywhere and her right foot was hanging over the crib.

Diggy-*Picks Danielle up and kisses her cheek* Were you trying to climb out munch? *Wiping Danielle's tears*

Danielle-Dada. She whined and laid her head on my shoulder.

Diggy-Don't climb out munch. Your gonna hurt yourself okay?

I spoke to her gently as I supported her with one hand under her butt, my other hand rubbing her back in a slow up and down motion and my head gently laying on top of hers.

Danielle-Ohhh! Bum-th! *Points to her head*

Diggy-*Chuckles* Yeah a bump! It's gonna hurt punkin.

Danielle-*Giggles*

Diggy-What's funny? *Laughs*

If anyone were to ever hear my conversations with my daughter, they'd think I was gay. I don't care. People just don't understand what this little creation of mine does to my heart.

After I rocked Danielle back to sleep in my arms I laid her back down in her crib and headed back to me and YN's room.

YN was sliding on a pair of Nike sweatpants like she was going somewhere.

Diggy-Good morning love. *Puckers his lips*

YN-*Peck his lips* Good morning babe.

Diggy-Where are you going?

YN threw her hair up into a pony tail and grabbed her car keys.

YN-Hospital to meet a girl named Penelope.

Diggy-*Smiles* That sounds fun.

YN-Yeah. *Smiles back at him* I gotta go.

Diggy-Okay babe. Drive safe. *Tosses you his car keys* Your car isn't here loser.

YN-*Laugh and sit your car keys on the night stand* Right. Bye Digg's!

YN P.O.V.

By the time I got to the hospital I tried not to think about what happened last night. It was so scary but I didn't want to show that emotion to Diggy.

I walked in with Kim and she escorted me to Penelope's room.

Kim opened the door and I walked in with a big teddy bear.

YN-Hi Penelope, my names YN. *Smile at her*

Penelope-*Covers her mouth as her eyes widened* Oh my gosh! I know who you are!

YN-*Smile* Well it's nice to meet you! *Sit the Teddy bear in a chair next to her hospital bed and give her a hug*

Penelope-Oh my gosh! She fanned her eyes as tears fell.

I wiped her tears and calmed her down.

YN-Awee, it's okay!

I looked around Penelope's hospital room to see basketball stickers everywhere and the best thing of all; a fathead of me making a slam dunk.

Penelope-I'm a big fan. She said to me as she noticed my eyes wandering around her room.

YN-*Smile at her* Well I'm your biggest fan. I poked her stomach as I said that and she laughed.
