Delsin's P.O.V
I was tagging a blank billboard I had bought in advance with the agency's logo and our phone number so we could get some more action in other areas of the region. As I was finishing up the final touches, I heard a commotion through the tunnels and thought to check it out. I hovered my way down the road with my smoke thrusters and get inside the tunnel faster with my dash ability when I saw a kid about to get killed by some kind of sentient sludge monster.
"HEY! YOU! LET THAT KID GO!" I shouted at the large pile of sludge, which it seemed to ignore my call. I tried firing cinder blasts at the sludge, but nothing seemed to work. So, I used my smoke dash to get close to it, wrapped my chain around its' torso without getting the kid wrapped around it, and heated the chain to get a reaction out of the sludge. It slowly started to melt and I subdued him. The green haired kid fell to the ground and looked unconscious. I brought him out of the tunnel and called the cops to let them know of the sludge like villain in the tunnel. I had the kid in my arms and was about to walk him back to the agency. However, when I grabbed one of his arms, I felt something like some kind of sharp pain in my head, like when I first got my powers from Hank all those years ago. I woke up, and realized that this kid possessed the conduit gene like me and Cole. He had to know. So, I rushed back to the agency and placed him on the couch in Cole's and my office. As I did so, Cole looked at me with shock and confusion.

Cole's POV
I had just finished up some paperwork from my last patrol for the afternoon when Delsin came back from his tagging, that was also when I saw that he was holding an unconscious green haired kid in his arms.
"Delsin, what the hell happened to that kid!?" I said with concern in my tone and rushed to see what was wrong.
"Would you relax, Cole? There was an incident with a villain in a tunnel not far from the billboard I was tagging and the kid here was a hostage." Delsin said, explaining himself. "I subdued the villain and had the cops and I'm guessing some other pro heroes handle that, and I couldn't just leave the kid there. I also discovered something about this kid as well."
I sigh a bit at his explanation and just accept it as he was doing good and I would've done the same thing if I was out there in his position. I was also curious about what he had to say about this kid. So, I told him to leave him on the couch, finish up his reports for the day, get the kid something to eat for when he wakes up, and to find a private place to talk about what he discovered about him. When he told me about what happened after he tried picking up the kid, I was in shock. I mean, who wouldn't be? There hasn't been any reports about people carrying the conduit gene in some time after Delsin had shut down the D.U.P back in the US a couple years ago. We'd have to run a test on him to be certain of Delsin's claim, but I don't doubt that what he's saying is false.

Izuku's POV
I woke up and realized I wasn't at home. I looked around and saw a man dressed in some strange clothes I've never seen anyone from Japan wear before. He looked like a delinquent and like he wasn't from around the country. He was scrolling through my hero analysis notebook, and nodding at my notes and sketches of various pro-heroes.
"Gotta say kid, pretty detailed notes you got here." The stranger said, looking at me. "You plan on being a pro hero or somethin'?"
"Uhh... Y-yes, I-I am." I stuttered. He smiled and sort of chuckled a bit at my response.
"Ease up there, kid. I ain't some thug who kidnapped you. I heard the commotion in the tunnel and saw you were in danger, so I saved you before somethin' bad happened to you." He said, with warm assurance in his voice.
"Huh...?" I said, in confusion at his statement. I then remembered what happened in the tunnel with that sludge villain, but not afterwords. "So, you saved me?" I asked him curiously.
"Yep. And then I brought you here, to my agency till' you woke up." He said, handing me a to-go container of Katsudon, some chopsticks, and a glass of water.
As he placed them in front of me, I grabbed the chopsticks and opened the container.
"W-Well, t-thank you-u, sir." I stuttered, as I looked down at the table, thinking I caused some trouble for him.
"Not a problem at all, kid." He said, as he had stood up from the chair he was sitting in and was about to leave the room. "Afterall, a hero's gotta save people. And we can't have the last conduit die out on us, now can we?" were the last words he said before he left. I was confused by the last set of words he said to me before he left. "What's a conduit? And did he refer to me as one?" I thought to myself as I stared at one.

(A/N: Hey y'all, hope you liked this chapter. Sorry it took awhile to write. Work has been hectic lately so it hasn't given me much time to write. If you have any suggestions on what you'd like to see in the next chapter or future chapters to come, let me know and I'll discuss it with the second author (That1Guy77678 ) and see what they think of it. Till' next time.)
