Teardrop

Chapter three

Sarah jogged through the carpark lot, she pressed her keychain remote to open her blue Jeep.
The car light flashed telling her it was open. Sarah slid into the worn hot leather seats, the heat from the seat burnt her thighs, she forced herself to ignore the stinging Pain. Hoping it wouldn't peel her skin off, that would be a lot of noisy questions by her dad. In the lot, yellow birds sang in the trees, there song was sweet and made her happy. She knew there happy song by heart.
Her red Jeep named molly was parked underneath the cool shade of a tall tree that dropped nuts on the hood of her car. Her car moly was a present by her dad, a get well present in celebration for his daughter being well agnough to drive and go to his perfect rich high-school.
The truck was second hand and her dad had paid a lot of money for it.
It wasn't as cool as her dads car but it would do. Her dad bought her stepmom two cars and the ungrateful women wanted hers, luckily dad had said no, although she had thrown a huge tantey.

The day was nice and peaceful.
The sky a crisp blue, at least the weather was not bad like somtimes.
Sarah turned the radio up, tapping her fingers on the steering wheel to the best as the rock music blared out of the stereos. Her mum had loved country music the soft classic heartbreak kind. But Sarah had agnough of heartbreak, she wanted to listen to the screaming metallic wail.
And the beating of drums like her heart.
It might hurt her ears. But the song was angry and tough.
Sad songs just made her feel sad, better if she was angry.

She opened the car windows to let the cool sweet air in and opened up the sun roof.
The warmth of the sun felt cheerful and relaxing.

" I won't reek pain cause you did it".
The song words were nice and angry.
Sitting on the therapist room had given her a lot of time to think and Somtimes too much time to think and reflect was a bad thing. She felt the past again.

The cold fear as the man walked towards her.
The cold grey eyes that gazed at her as if she was somthimg to eat.
The man that killed her mum, her mums piercing scream.
She shuddered tripping over her feet as she slammed into the shelf, her head cracked.
Wet blood poured out. She felt dizzy seeing her own blood. Scarlet red against her pale skin.

The man didn't talk he just kept advancing.
She couldn't talk. She felt in her pocket for the pocket knife her mum always told her to carry,
and gave her for her seventh birthday. She knew it was strange a seven year old getting a pocket knife but then again put family was diffrent. Cold fear prickling up my back, I desoerstoy grabbed the hilt of my knife, then I did the natural instinct stuck it in his gut.

The man cold grey eyes calculated the fastest way to kill me.
Before he stopped down dead, and at last he was gone.
Leaving a feeling of evil and somebody watching me.

I don't know what happened to the body of the man.
Merely that it dissapeared and left nothing.
When I held my mums broken body and the cops broke in.
Of course they blamed me that night. Of course I was crazy killer.
The place they had said. Then they had locked me up. Until I disappeared into myself.

Sarah shook her head, trying to stop thinking of the past that haunted her.
She would have to go to school today and forget about the place.
She had turned around so casually not knowing the pain that would stab her.
And the death of her mother again. She remembered from the meet at school when she had gone there and westing a bandage around her head, her skull stitched up.

People had ignored her.
She had felt lost and unwelcome like she didn't belong here as she walked down the long
empty hallway, she had been shown the way to her locker, by a tall teacher assistant that Sarah had met at the front reception she had told her Were her classes would be, and hilighted the king timetable, and the best routes she should take.
