The air in the room was cold and it matched the mood perfectly. To a regular person the room would appear to be a normal conference room. The walls plain white and a large table sat in the center of the room. The same could be said for the people around the table, a group of twelve men who all wore matching grey suits and black ties. The room was silent because one dared to speak.

Suddenly the double doors swung open and a man walked in. The man was tall, his face weathered with age, a long white beard hung from his chin and though he seemed tired, his blue eyes were alight with energy. As he walked to his chair at the front of the table, all of the other men rose out of there seats.

"Be seated," the man says.

"Your late again Griffith." The man that sits to the right of Griffith comments. Griffith turns to him giving him a look that dares him to continue.

"I apologize for my tardiness. I was working on some issues we are having down in the underworld."

"What seems to be the problem?" A man named Henrick asks.

"The keepers have reported that two prisoners have disintegrated," Griffith says. A low murmur runs through the room at the news.

"Disintegrated? Just out of no where?" One man asks.

Griffith nods,"Yes. However that is not the problem at hand. Now, the maveth's have been caught on the earths plain more and more over the past fifty years. And as we all know the maveth's radiate fear and terror which is why the crime rate on earth has also increased dramatically. So I have come up with a proposition to do away with the maveth's power." He pauses, looking around the room. "We train two subjects to become angles."

There is a silence in the room and then there is an explosion of questions.

"Angles? We haven't trained angelic warriors in centuries."

"The maveth's can't be taken down by simply two subjects. Trained angles or not."

Griffith lets the men around the table shout at one another for a moment before yelling, "Silence!" All the noise is gone in an instant.

"What two subjects would be equipped for such a task?" Henrick asks.

"July Diamond and Asher Grey."

A man named Samuel spoke up.""You must be crazy. Are you telling me that you want to take the two most dangerous criminals of the last thirty years and turn them into angles? It's impossible. It can't be done."

Griffith looks at him with a stone face. "Yes that is exactly what I'm saying."
