"Leave me alone!" I yelled in between my tears.

"Did you think that having an 'F' on a test will make me happy, you're the daughter of a CEO you're an embarrassment," he yelled gripping onto his leather belt.

"It's only one dad, one F," I attempted to explain clutching onto the red mark that formed on my shoulder.

He didn't reply he just started beating me up once more "one," he strikes "two."

"LEAVE ME ALOOOOONE," I cried out in agony.

End of Flashback

I jerked from sleep, my breathing was still unsteady and my face filled with tears. I turned to face the black-haired guy staring at me in shock.

"Are you ok?" he uttered, legs dangling on the bedside and his facial expression indicated I was the reason behind his disturbed sleep.

I returned the gaze, then coldly responded, "Why would you care?"

"It's not like I care, but you woke me up from sleep," he corrected folding his arms in the process.
"Great," I heaved a sigh pulling the covers back over my body.

He sighed then asserted, "I can't go back to sleep it's really hard to, and that's all because of you."

"Yeah I know you don't have to tell that I am useless, an embarrassment, ugly, annoying, I know that," I announced wiping the dried tears.

"I know that," I went on facing the icy windows once again.

I know that.

Jimin's POV

Her words were stuck in my head throughout the rest of the day repeating over and over again.

'Yeah I know you don't have to tell that I am useless, an embarrassment, ugly, annoying, I know that.'

Why did it hurt that much?

I mean from what I heard I'm a cold person with no feelings.

But why?

She did believe herself though.

I couldn't sleep not after hearing those harsh words useless, an embarrassment, ugly, annoying, what did I even say to make her think that?

Is that why she cries every day?

Questions flooded my thoughts causing me to shake them off and return to my deep slumber.

Flashback

"Mom where are we going?" I asked holding onto her warm hand.

"Chim we came here for a check-up," she explained tightening her grip on my fragile hand.

"Wait here I have to go buy you some snacks ok?" she said sending her signature smile once more before vanishing forever.

She left just like that, disappeared, left me.

I later found out she told the nurse that I needed 'mental help'.

It hurt, really hurts.

Especially if it's from the only person you trusted.

I turned my face towards hers seeing that she was laying there with a tear on her cheek.

I kept staring at her face not realizing that she already opened hers. My heart dropped.

I turned around to the counter and picked up the sleeping pills as a distraction.

Then dozed off to sleep.

Jennie's POV

I opened my eyes to see him staring at me, I felt scared somehow. My heartbeat accelerated.

I panicked noticing that he turned around and picked up some pills, I changed positions, so that I was facing the window instead. Drifting off to sleep.

'Sleep, what's sleep?'
