After giving a very grumpy Zeldris a goodbye kiss, me, Gloxinia and Mikaela went for a walk. After Mikaela complaining over and over again about her 'wittle leg' as she put it, Gloxinia agreed fly us to the nearest town.
The flight went okay, without the constant reminding Mikaela that uncle Xinia's wing were sensitive and not to yank on them, and the occasional pain filled grunt from Gloxinia when he would go to fast and I would accidentally tug to hard on his hair. But you know, the view was gorgeous and there wasn't to much turbulence, so 🤷♀️
Once we landed I pretty much leaped into the ground, happy to feel it beneath my feet again. I turned around and saw Mikaela happily bouncing over to another small human. I quickly when too shout her name
"Mik-"
"-dont" Gloxinia smiled putting a hand on my shoulder "- let her have fun, it's been a while since she has played with someone her age"
I bit my lip nervously before nodding and sitting on the wall behind me, having a clear view of my daughter. Gloxinia sat next to me a sighed.
"Been a while, huh?" I smiled looking around
The humans happily continuing their day to day lives, blissfully unaware of the dangerous beings that just landed in their home. Selling their goods, working on crops, moving livestock, hanging out with friends, working at markets.

"Humans always lived such short lives, I wonder how fit everything they need to see in it"
Meliodas and I were sitting on a hill watching the village below us
"Well we have a different perspective on live, cause we know that we live a long time. So we take our time taking in the small things, and if there was no war, it would be okay to say 'oh I can do it tomorrow' "smiled a familiar short blonde "-but humans wont always wake up tomorrow, and when they get to a certain age they realise that and try and make the most of the memories they have, and will make"
He turned his head towards me a smile on his face, his gleaming green eyes looking into mine
"That make sense?"

Yeah it really did meliodas, you always made sense to me, I sighed, shaking the memory from my head. Dont think about him Y/n he's a traitor remember...

"You alright?" Gloxinia asked raising a brow tucking his wing beind his back, watching carefully as humans walked past, judgemental expressions on their faces.
"Yeah I'm fine..." I looked up at Gloxinia "are you going to put your wing away?"
"Huh why?"
"Dont humans get attracted to shiny things?" I asked confused making Gloxinia snort and cover his mouth
"That's magpies Y/n"
"Oh"
"Pfffft" Gloxinia laughed
I pouted "it's not my fault that humans make no sense"
"Mama!"
I shot up and looked to were Mikaela was, after seeing her sobbing figure I rushed over Gloxinia quick to follow.
"Honey what's wrong?" I asked checking her body for injury before tugging her into my arms
"Theres a big leggy thing on the floor!!" She cried out shoving her head into my shoulder
"A....a- a big leggy thing?" Gloxinia said confused before looking at the ground and freezing
"Gloxinia you okay?" I asked furrowing my brows and looking to were this 'big leggy thing was'
HOLY SHIT, WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT???!!!
"Holy fuck!" I yelped jumping backwards away from the massive fucking spider that sat nonchalantly in front of us
"What the hell is that?!" Gloxinia asked stepping backwards
"You tell me! You used to live in the forest right? You had spiders?!"
"Yeah, but not ones that big!!"
"Have spiders gotten that big in 3,000 years????"
"Oh god, never mind the Seven deadly sins. These little monsters are the things we should worry about!"
Passing a crying Mikaela to Gloxinia I quickly went over to a passing human "excuse me!"
"Huh?" He answered looking at me
"Sorry for bothering you but can you tell me what this is?" I hurriedly asked
He let out a loud sigh "yeah sure" and followed me to were Gloxinia was tensely standing
"What is that?" I cried out point at the land octopus
The human let out a loud laugh "I'm guessing 'ur not from 'round 'ere" he chuckled at our panicked expression "it's a tarantula, a big one at that. I'm actually not surprised that it scared ya'll" He gave us one last chuckle before walking away
"W-wait hang on what do we do-" and he left
I let out a groan "great"
Looking back at the tarantula, who was looking back up at me with thousands of its tiny eyes. Fear filled me, oh god please dont kill me
"Mama?" I turned to my daughters little voice. Once seeing my face her expression hardened, which looked adorable on her face. "Down pwease"
Gloxinia hesitated at first, glancing at the spider (who mind you hadn't moved) before placing the girl on the floor. Mikaela went over the stand behind us, quietly asking her something and a smile on her face. The man quickly gave her what she wanted, grinning back at her.
She rushed over to us with a wooden board in her arms, a determined look on her face.
"um Mikaela? What are yo-"
She slowly bend down and placed the wood next to the spider, edging it into it. Once it had so slowly moved towards a bush, before she quickly yeeted that shit and ran back over to us clutching onto my leg.
"I-I gwot wid of the swider, mama" she whinned, shaking slightly "do wou feel bwetter now?"
I blinked before picking her up and grinning "yes I do my brave little girl! Did you do that all for me and Uncle Xinia?" After receiving a small shy nod, I quickly placed small kisses all over her face making her giggle and laugh "my brave baby"
After a few laughs from all three of us Gloxinia spoke up "we should go back now"
"Awwwww" Me and Mikaela whinned, giving Gloxinia puppy eyes
"please Uncle Xinia can we stay?"
"No"
Mikaela pouted before asking quietly if she could be picked up. I nodded picking her up grinning at a guilty looking Gloxinia, who glared at me huffing "Common then-"
"Sate sate sate, what do we have here?"
And suddenly, the air sucked out of my lungs. My body was frozen, my head pounding, hands starting sweating. I felt Mikaela's arms tighten around me, feeling my panic. Gloxinia tensed beside me.
That voice...I-I know that voice...it cant be...
"Meliodas?"
