Stan is in the attic of the Mystery Shack. He's carrying a few suitcases, and is trying to fit them under the beds. However, he's struggling!
After a quick montage of Stan trying to shove the bags in various locations, he sighs and sits down on the floor. There's a knock at the door.
Soos: Uh... Mr.Pines... I don't think all four of you can fit into the attic-
Stan: I'll figure something out Soos!
He picks a scrap piece of paper off the floor. On one side it reads, "Who is the author?" On the other side is a drawing of a shooting star.
Stan: I have to!
*Theme song plays*
The location is inside the Mystery Shack, late afternoon. Wendy, Candy, and Grenda are putting up decorations while Stan, Ford, and Soos talk among themselves.
Soos: There's no way all four of you doods will fit in one room
Stan: Okay, what about two rooms?
Soos: I'm sorry, but my abuela, Melody, and I already occupy both your room and Dr.Pines' room.
Ford: There has to be something you can do-
Ford is interrupted by a knock at the door. Gideon, Pacifica, and Robbie enter.
Pacifica: Sorry, are we late?
Stan, along with the three girls glared at the trio who just walked in.
Stan: Ugh, who invited them?
Soos laughs awkwardly.
Soos: Sorry, Mr.Pines...
Stan, Ford, and Wendy: Soos!!
Stan: This was supposed to be small! Just close friends and family!
Soos: I know, but Robbie said if he was invited he'd bring extra snacks
Wendy: Ugh, and you believed him?
Robbie: I actually brought snacks-
Robbie holds up a grocery bag filled with chips and sodas
Soos smiles awkwardly while Wendy groans and crosses her arms.
Soos: And Pacifica is kind of close to Dipper and Mabel?
Candy: We did get invited to Pacifica's party last year... because Dipper bribed her to give us tickets.
Grenda: I heard her and Mabel played golf together!
Stan: That still doesn't explain why Gideon is here
Soos: He was at their birthday party, why can't he come to this one too?
Grenda: Because it's only supposed to be close friends and family!
Candy: Because he made unwanted advances towards Mabel
Wendy: Because he kidnapped Dipper and tried to kill him when Mabel finally broke up with him
Ford: Because he used my journal to harm my family
Stan: Because he broke into my house and stole the deed to the Mystery Shack, leaving my family and I homeless
Wendy: Are we forgetting anything?
Gideon: I'm a changed man-
Candy: When he put cameras in those pins and spied on the town
Ford: When he summoned... y'know... that triangle to go into my brother's mind
