-Lothal, outside the Ghost, at 5:32 am-

"You aren't focusing."

"Hard to focus when you're still half asleep master." Ezra yawned, rubbing his eyes. Next to him, Rei, Aura, and Renci nodded in agreement.

"Yeah," Aura said, lazily twirling one of her blasters. "Why can't we sleep and try this again later when we're actually awake?"

Kanan rolled his eyes. "I had to wake up early for my training so now it's your turn."

"That doesn't mean we have to though!!!" Renci whined, tugging at her headtails. "The sun clearly agrees with us too since it's still sleeping." She adds, gesturing to the still dark sky.

"Just focus." With that, Kanan stalked over to the Ghost, muttering something about why the world decided to punish him by giving him terrible padawans. Or something like that. The odd group of young Jedi in training groaned and trudged over to their previous positions.

"This is stupid." Rei huffed, igniting her lightsaber. "I don't mind the training but interrupting my beauty sleep is goin to far."

"Nothing beautiful about it..." Aura muttered. Rei's head whipped around to face her.

"Excuse me?"

Aura held up her hands. "Nothing!!! Let's just get on with this or we'll feel the wrath of Master Kanan!" She laughed, wiggling her fingers.

"Yeah, very scary." Ezra scoffed. "Ready?"

"Ready!!!" They all yelled, getting into their defensive stances.

-Like not even 5 minutes later...-

Rei lazily swung her lightsaber at Renci. "Take that...!" Renci merely shifted to avoid it.

"Ha... missed... me." the tired togruta mumbled. Aura weakly Force-pushed Ezra back. He barely stumbled.

"Is that... all you... got Aura?"

She barely muttered a reply before collapsing from exhaustion. The others followed soon after, dropping right next to her. Rei rubbed at her bleary eyes.

"Forget training... i'm sleeping."

They were all too tired to disagree. So a few moments later, they all drifted off to sleep, not knowing that it wasn't going to last for very long...

~*~*~*~*~

Kanan could see the teens sleeping on the grassy plain, all piled on top of each other. He rolled his eyes. He specifically told them to focus on their training yet here they were, focused on their sleep instead.

"I'll show them what happens when they aren't focused." He grumbled, stalking into the ship. It was quiet, the rest of the crew still clearly asleep. Kanan wanted to get them up too, but his sole focus right now were his padawans.

Walking into the kitchen, he used the Force to turn on the sink, making sure he turned the cold water dial. Then he made his way to the freezer and deftly took out a few handfuls of ice. Rummaging throughout the cupboards, he pulled out a large bin, filled it with water and threw the ice in it.

"This'll wake them up." He snickered, walking out of the kitchen.

-About 1 minute later...-

Kanan stood over the sleeping forms of his apprentices, the bin positioned in his hands over their heads. He stood there, debating whether this was a good idea or not before finally dumping it on them. They screamed as the water ran over their bodies, plastering the fabric of their clothes to their skin.

"SWEET MEILOORUNS THAT'S COLD!!!" Aura shrieked, jumping up and down to try to dislodge the piece of ice that stuck to her back. The others hopped up and down, screaming and cursing and not at all tired.

"KANAN IS THIS SOME SORT OF SICK JOKE?!?!" Ezra yelled, stomping over to Kanan. His master merely smiled.

"I'd thought I'd just show you what happens when you don't focus when I tell you to."

The four padawans glared at him.

"FOCUS? FOCUS?!?! YOU COULDA DROWNED US IN OUR SLEEP!!! SOME MASTER YOU ARE!!!" Rei fumed. Kanan started to back away slowly.

"Look, I didn't mean to-" Renci cut him off.

"What? You didn't mean do murder us in our sleep? I can see the headlines now: 'Master kills padawans with cruel water joke! Death by sleep drowning!' Yeah I can TOTALLY see that!!" She ignited her lightsaber and scowled, taking a step towards him.

Kanan took a few more steps back. "You know, r-revenge isn't the J-Jedi way..." He gulped. The others ignited their lightsabers too and stalked closer to him.

"Yeah, we'll this isn't the Jedi way, it's our way." Aura snarled. "And our way is revenge. GET HIM!!!"

The Jedi yelped and ran away as fast as he could. But he was no match for the four cold, anger crazed padawans...

-Back inside the Ghost...-

"Sabine, have you seen Kanan or the others around anywhere?" The pilot asked, worry etched in her features. Sabine looked up at Hera and dragged her to the ramp.

"Take a look."

It was still pretty dark and she couldn't see anything out of the ordinary. Hera glanced back at Sabine.

"I don't see anything..." Sabine sighed and turned Hera's head a little to the left. Her green eyes widened.

"Ohhh..."

Outside, she could now see the glowing blades of lightsabers swinging around wildly in the long grass. Occasionally, the crack of a lightsaber hitting another sounded in the air. Hera craned her neck to try to see what was going on.

"Sabine, can you see what's going on?" Sabine put on her helmet and looked in the direction of the glowing blades. After a second, she clamped a hand over her mouth to stifle a laugh.

The twi'lekk raised an eyebrow. "What's so funny...?"

The mandalorian nodded towards the grass. "Just watch."

A few moments later, Kanan sprinted out from the grass, stumbling a little. Behind him, Renci, Rei, Aura, and Ezra raced after him. Hera could see that they were completely drenched and not at all happy.

Kanan ran over to Hera and hid behind her back. She looked at him, amused unlike his apprentices.

"What did you do now dear?"

"I'll tell you what happened!" Rei hissed, waving around her lightsaber. "He decided it was a great idea to throw water on us while we were sleeping!"

Sabine snickered and Hera facepalmed.

"Seriously love? Seriously?"

He tried to defend himself. "They weren't focusing so-"

"So nothing!" Ezra growled. "We're still mad at you! AFTER HIM!!!" Kanan screamed and ran away from them.

"GET BACK HERE!!!" They all rampaged after him, leaving Hera and Sabine alone on the ramp. Sabine sighed.

"Zeb is going to be so upset that he missed this..."

"Yeah, about that, remind me never to mess with tired padawans."

"Agreed."
