my boss said take a sleep early tonight

or tomorrow you will look like a lizard who lost the fight.

it’s seven in the morning and I need to dress up right

no matter what I do, nerve-racking looks never say goodbye

all of these are due to sleepless night

then I heard my boss said “you see? i am right!”

my boss said take your meals a little lighter

or you will grow bigger like sumo wrestler

I took my dinner in the restaurant

and ate everything that my tummy wants

tasted everything that magnetize my eyes

spend the last centavo to satisfy my taste buds

stomach twinges from morn ‘til night again

my boss said “i told you, i am right!”

my boss said get things done so fast

or deadline catches you up with unfinished task.

but my keyboard stumbled with my fingers touch

and stopped working when pleasures are vast

chatting with friends online attracted me most

and working is never fun than liking a post

the day is over and nothing was done even a slight

now I begin to think that my boss is right?

my boss said when you talk over the phone be wise

or people will think my secretary isn’t bright.

the phone rings one morning of September

and the woman over the phone asked me if my boss is around

though my boss is therei told her he’s nowhere to find

make a call later and see if he’s interested to have you in his sight

so surprised when she told me, 'i am his wife'

now I am almost convinced my boss is right!

my boss said secretaries need to be pretty

because that’s what most guests wanted to see.

a young guy went to the office one day

asked me if it’s alright for him to stay

and spend some time to talk with me

he said my pretty face he loved to see

and smile so sweet has lightened his heart

and this guy i met was so handsome and smart

now I am truly convinced

MY BOSS IS RIGHT!
