CHAPTER EIGHT

BAILEY

I'm currently on my way to school with Melanie, Ophelia and Lily. It's Monday and today is already feeling like a drag. I texted Anna on Friday and then again on Saturday but received nothing back. I also messaged Jess, and she said she hasn't spoken to Anna since Friday night. Both of us are a bit worried but Jess texted me this morning saying that everything's good. I wonder what's going on.

"I just want to go back to bed dude. UGHHH!" Melanie groans as she slumps in her seat. I hear the girls laugh lightly as I smile.

"Honestly same, I thought it was just me but today just feels off. Hey why don't you guys come over today and chill. My cousin should be here today."

"JADES COMING!!!" Both Mel and Phelia screeched as Lily chuckles with me. Finally, we get to the school and park up. "Yeah she should be here right now actually to get her timetable," I reply.

We get out the car for Lily and I to hear a loud squeal. We turn to watch our friends looking at my infamous cousin.

"JADE MOTHERFUCKING WEST!" I hear Mel shout as she jumps on the girl smothering her with kisses. We all laugh at the scene. Jade looks like she can't breathe. The boys have joined us so we're all watching them.

"Melanie baby, I can't breathe!" Mel jumps off and gives her a kiss on the cheek before jumping onto her boyfriend.

Jade is very close with everyone. Mel loves her and I used to think they would date but Mel loves Jade as a big sister. As Jade sees Mel as a little sister. It's really cute to be honest. She has finally moved here.

Her parents are like mine so Jade tends to be alone a lot, her parents decided that it should be fine for her to stay with us till graduation. Jades last name may be 'West' but she isn't related to Anna. Or Jade West from Victorious.

Her father is full English so she has the accent. I have the accent when around her as I was born and lived in London when I was younger.

She has long dark hair, but it's always put in a messy bun showing her undercut. Like me.

She's wearing black ripped jeans with a black t-shirt and vans. Jade is really good at sports so she's in good shape but she's more of a musical person. To think about it, we could bring the band back.

"Hey bitch, long time no see!" I tease while smirking at her smug face and walking towards her. We've now gained the attention of a few people around the car park.

"Who you calling a bitch?" She looks around her dramatically, "Cause it ain't me." She then jumps into my arms, wrapping her legs tightly around my waist. Her hairs come loose from the bun so it's spilled all over my face and now I can't even see.

"I've missed you so much."

"I've missed you too."

We hug a little longer but then get interrupted by someone clearing their throat. An angry looking Jess is standing there with her arms crossed and staring directly at my cousin.

"So you come back and think it's good not to even let me know about it?! You son of a bitch!" And with that Jade jumps off and walks towards Jess while laughing her ass off.

"What are you gonna do about it?" Jade taunts as she smirks at Jess.

And with that the bell rang, and we all started to walk into the school with Jess and Jade bickering like idiots. The two have always been close, they knew each other before I knew Jess. They met in London and since then have been like best friends. It came as a surprise, as when Mel introduced us. Jess mentioned Jade at one point and she was equally shocked when I told her she was my cousin.
