Chapter 3 {Deadened Yell}

Phinks

"Okay, so you had to get into a battle because of your umbrella and you somehow ended up losing all of your clothing?" I ask. "Yes," he answers. I'm not so sure if I should believe him or not. "Well... Did you get your umbrella back?" "The person I was fighting broke it. I will just have to purchase a new one."

You

"Feitan?" I spoke his name, observing him with another person who was much taller than him. I was finally capable to walk. Taking moderate and unsteady steps toward him. "Feitan? Do you know her?" Feitan attained quiet, seeming like he was anxious to say a word.

Phinks

This girl appeared to be wearing Feitan's clothing and was clutching his umbrella. "Oh, I see what's going on here! Feitan's fallen in love with her!"

Feitan

"Shut up! She only needed someone to take care of her. S-So I took care of her. Alright, Phinks let's go now." I grabbed my umbrella from her hands.

You

I observed the two of them walk away from me. I tried to choke back my tears. He sounded like he didn't care for me at all. But... That's how stuff is supposed to be, right? Luckily, it didn't rain tonight. At least Feitan let me keep his bandana and his clothing. It helped as a cover, and I wasn't as cold.

Feitan

It has been 2 days now. I query if she is thinking about me... I was a little harsh last time we saw each other, but that was only because Phinks was pushing this all in my face. At least he assured me that he would not tell any of the troupe.

Shalnark

"Hey, Feitan! Why are you looking so blue?" I ask, launching my arm around him. "I want to go on a walk," he replied. "Great! Can I come with you?" "No." Hm. This guy really likes to be independent.

Chrollo

Oh boy. Where did Feitan run off to now? "Have any of you seen Feitan?" "He went for a walk." I sighed. "I guess I'll go get him. I want to send him on a mission."

Phinks

If Danchou goes out to find Feitan, he's going to figure out that he's been out with a girl. "Actually, Danchou, I can get him." "Thank you, Phinks."

Feitan

"Y/N! Y/N?!" I scanned through the complete forest, but I couldn't locate her. I had no selection but to look within the city. "Y/N!" I called once more.

You

I can hear deadened yells... As soon as I clear up my eyes, I've got a pounding headache and I'm all dizzy. I ached to cry out for help, even though I know nothing would occur. I don't know, maybe Feitan will somehow hear me? But still, nothing came out of my mouth. My voice instructs me to speak up, my brain tells me to stay shut.

Feitan

Man... She must be starving. She is going through days of no food or water. "Y/N!" I yelled once more, knowing that it would have been pretty impotent. "Fei?" I heard something faint. "Y/N?!" I called again, hoping that she would hear me this time.
