One day… out of the blue. His close friend Sir Gabriel the knight came and told him something. At the time he didn’t know what to think or say because he didn’t know that it was possible. A girl, she was nobility, coming from a rich and powerful family. She had feelings for him. They called her princess Kara. Even though she wasn’t really a princess. She grew up with him, in the same class taught by the wizard and even was there when the wood fairy told them about the kingdom. So she believed everything he did and grew just like he did. It seemed perfect. He finally talked to Kara and discovered the down to earth person she was. A perfect match for a troll. He liked Kara back too.
Day after day, week after week he would try to talk to her. But it was always just a “hi” or a simple “how’s it been?”. He didn’t know what it was in him. He felt the feelings, he knew what he wanted to do. But when they were together he couldn’t say anything. In his mind he knew he was a troll and she was nobility. He saw how much better she could do and should do. He looked at himself and saw that he couldn’t offer her anything… nothing of worth. How can a noble girl like her ever like an ugly toll like him? She moved on…
Kara first saw a guy that her noble parents found as a suitable guy. From what he saw they were happy. But it seemed like she changed. Though he didn’t say much about it he still watched her very closely. She was the first one it ever have feelings for him. So he watched… he watched as she stopped hangout with their friends from the school. He watched as she started to do stuff he knew was wrong. He watched as her heart broke. One day he went up to her. Asked about him. And asked about them. Nothing was said, until she broke. She finally saw who she was becoming and that wasn’t what she wanted to be. Thanks to him, Kara let him go. Out of her life and no longer a problem.
He was always there for her. Never let the feelings fade, no matter what he heard. Seemed like because she was too good for him, he wanted to make sure she found someone that was good enough. He was the friend that was always there. But in both their minds they were more, even though they were never really anything more. Because of this the troll didn’t notice when a fairy from another close school liked him or when an elf from the ancient woods did too. He just never took his eyes off Kara.
He didn’t know what to do. So what he did was, train in everything. He started to learn music from the fairies. Learning how to play instruments and fixing his ugly toll voice. He trained with the elves in all kinds of dance, learning as much as his body can take. He shed tears, blood and sweat with the knights. If you didn’t know he was a troll you would have never guessed he would be. Just to see if maybe Kara would give him a second look, that look of love when it was just them two.
