So he went on with his studies. Working on school and preparing for this wonderful kingdom he heard of so long ago. Sadly he kept on training with everyone. Thinking he wasn’t good enough then he has got to get better. Then! And Maybe then she will come to her senses. Stuck in the past he didn’t notice who she really met. A girl from his studies with a fairy friend.
His fairy friend came to him and asked if he could play a part in this production she was making. He agreed of course. During this production he was playing a prince that falls for a simple farm girl. The farm girl was a human named Castalia. He only noticed her smile. They became instant friends. It was like she didn’t even see that he was a troll. For once in a long time he was happy. He felt more love, joy, peace from this girl he just met than all those years from Kara. So he did what he could for her, he did what he could with her. Anything to spend more time with this amazing girl.
One day they decided to travel up the great mountains to a lost lake. Castalia said she knew the way, and that was all he had to hear to agree to go. They traveled all day to the foot of the mountains and then started the long hard journey up the steep mountain. She was amazingly fast a fit for a human and he was slow and tired for a troll. But they made it to the top where they found this amazing lake. It glowed with such a light that when the clouds blocked the sun, the light hit the peeks of distant mountains.
He was amazed to see this lake, untouched by anyone. Crystal clear waters and glowing like a beacon. He just stood there staring at it. Castalia just looked at him while he stared. Then she pulled him to a stone stretching out into the lake. They sat there just talking, laughing, just having a good time. He sat there looking at her laughing and smiling. Right there he knew that he loved her. She was the missing piece he was looking for all these years.
