Liam

I knew what I just did was bad, but I couldn't help myself. She is just too much and I had to have her.

At least for one night she is mine. After the initial round she came a few times more.

My cock just wouldn't go down although I came as well.

Madison is sleeping beside me I can tell by the relaxed state of her body and the deep rhythmic breathing.

Although we only have this night, I let her sleep because I need to collect my thoughts.

First light of the dawn is emerging on the horizon. Soon I will leave.

In this one night we had more sex than I had in months and it was more than I imagined.

And I imagined a lot with her.

My thoughts are filled with Madison. Her smell, her taste and especially how good it felt to be deep inside of her.

I don't think that I ever came so hard in my life. Her responsiveness brings me to the edge, and she responds in such a beautiful way.

So orgasmic, I just want to keep her screaming my name.

This is why we can only have this night.

After that we go back to what we were before today. A boss and an employee, two ex-colleagues.

I'm no good for her.

This is a proven fact coming from knowing myself well.

Hurting her is not a question of if, but when. It is like that when work is my only focus, everything else somehow gets pushed back.

She needs somebody who will have time for her and pay attention to her needs. Not just sex, other needs too.

I get lost in my old, settled ways, too late to change now.

Madison stirs in her sleep and turns to me. Her soft hair all mushed around her head and all over her face. I move a few strands so they would not tickle her.

Gorgeous, and not even aware how much.

I get hard just by looking at this beauty sleeping beside me.

I can't give you happily ever after, but I can give you this night.

She stirs again and I use this moment to sneak out of the bed without waking her up.

Not much sleep for me tonight, but that is my normal.

Unlike other days, today I get out of the bed happy and energized, not by the will of discipline.

I find my jeans and my mobile to check if there is something that needs my attention. When you are at the helm of a billion-dollar corporation there is always something that needs my attention.

I go to the living room and really take it in for the first time.

Although everything looks easy going and rural, I notice that each peace is well designed, functional and highest quality.

My little girl has done well for herself, much more than I imagined.

There is one more thing that this house has and my penthouse apartment doesn't - it feels like a home.

My phone holds a plethora of emails, messages, texts and few missed calls.

Well, can't be a CEO and disappear from the face of the Earth.

Missed calls are my first priority.

My CTO, assistant and Adele.

Adele...

I wonder what was so urgent that she called.

It is too early to call her, so I send her a text while I wait for my espresso to be done.

Before I know it my phone is ringing.

Why is Adele awake at this hour?

My mobile is still in silent mode so I don't pick it up because this is not a conversation, I want Madison to hear.

With espresso in my hand and phone in my back pocket I go downstairs to the office area.

There is a big open space looking like an artist's studio. I didn't know she was an artist. Perhaps it is not hers. Jealousy rears its ugly head and I'm furious at that unknown someone.

Office is spacious, a big desk with two silver monitors in the far side of the room and a sitting area with a sofa, two chairs and a coffee table closer to the entrance.

I close the door behind me, put the cup on the table and call Adele.

"Hey you!" she purrs over the line.

"Hi, Adele. You called?" I answer not even trying to hide the annoyance.

But I need to get a grip because Adele is not the one to blame here.

I am.

"I just wanted to see what you are up to this weekend?" she answers unscaled.

I sigh. A strange thing to be curious about in the crack of the dawn.

She doesn't take no for an answer, and I've taken advantage of that more than a few times over the years.

"Adele, I told you that we will not be seeing each other again."

"I've heard this before," she continues "and it usually doesn't last long".

"I mean it Adele."

"I've heard that as well," she responds.

"This time it is final."

She sighs.

"Liam, let us meet for lunch and talk, if you are serious about your decision, let us part like friends," Adele persists.

"We are bound to see each other at business events, we have to be able to work together," she explains.

"We have no need for direct contact because of work," I made sure of that "and I'm not in town this weekend".

I flinch as the words leave my mouth. Fuck! Too much information.

"Really?" she responds.

"So, you have a new interest? Why didn't you say in the first place? Everything is clear now."

I don't want her to know about Madison.

Several rumors about how she dealt with my other casual interests came to my attention. I asked her, she denied, I checked about the girls and nothing was out of order.

None of them was on my radar for more than one or two fucks so I dropped it not reading more into those stories. However, when Madison is in question let's not even experiment.

"I'm just out of town." I reply knowing well that after this call she will activate her network of friends to locate where I was last seen.

Or she already did...

We move in similar circles and my brain is whirling in an attempt to connect all the people from Drake's party yesterday but it is just too many people.

Shit! She knows everything.

"Let's have that dinner next week to talk." I offer.

Perhaps this will keep her off Madison.

"Sure..." she purrs, "call me".

"Ok, Adele." I tell her as I end the call.

This conversation brings meback to reality.

This is who I am, this is why I have to end this.

In myexistence there is no past or future, just living by the moment.
